So they change the games, simple as that. The billionaires just watching the games in those video camaras like in season1, the lasts games the rich can go to the island and watched the game with their own eyes. What is sad is how many people have money problems in South korea. This games are just exterminating the poor and only one can succeed and have another chance. Remember that this games have been around the world, i remember in season 1 they actually do this games in the US. Its an entire organization that only a few billionaires are part of.

I used to play jacks a lot when I was a kid, but I think gongi is much harder because you have to flip the stones on the back of your hand and then catch them. you definitely don't have to do that in Jacks. I honestly love all the games this season; they really upped the ante!

@ApartDragonFruit: I think every year they probably start off with red light green light no matter what because it gets rid of a lot of people. In season 1 pretty much half of the players were killed the first game. The final few games are probably going to be different like these ones were though i think they will end with squid game again, if they even make it to that point next season. When they take the beds away further in the season I noticed a drawing of monkey bars on the back wall, and chess i think on another so it's going to get interesting next season for sure. I worry about the mom...

Along with the other players - now symbolically marked by red and blue "stickers" - In-ho and Gi-hun kinda represent two opposing philosophical viewpoints. The blue team is primarily focused on self-interest and survival, while the red team is more concerned with the collective good. In-ho and Gi-hun embody these perspectives in stark, almost exaggerated ways. In my opinion, In-ho's goal is not just to keep the games going, but to break Gi-hun's spirit and force him to see things from his perspective - is it because he truly believes in it or is he trying to convince himself? Throughout the game, In-ho plays by Gi-hun's rules, following his lead, and still, players decide to stay and continue the games. Every time we catch his secret gazes, it's almost as if he's trying to ask Gi-hun: do you see? Do you understand now? Gi-hun is right that their choices are an illusion (as we saw in season 1 - it's coerced consent), but In-ho also has a point - his view is simply more pragmatic. He believes this is the world they live in, and he genuinely thinks he's doing good by offering a select few a chance at happiness, even if it means allowing many others to die. In his eyes, it’s a cruel world, and while people will continue to die, why not help a few escape the misery, playing by the rules of those in charge? Gi-hun believes the world can be changed. In-ho doesn't think change is possible, and he isn't interested in trying.

I love that they changed things up so it wasn’t just a rehash of season one and the stakes would be higher for Gi-hun. The character dynamics keep getting better and better, too.
