THE WHITE LOTUS Season 3 Episode 3 Ending Explained

@BrainPilot: Well it feels like Timothy might end up turning to Greg for help with the issues he has! That Ratliffs could genuinely be facing tsunami by getting help from him. What did you think of this episode? Share your thoughts in the commentsНаписать
@dobwatches: The two workers from the hotel who with Lochlan on the beach in the beginning were the trans worker from the restaurant at the White Lotus. What did that play in the dreams. They were then the same people who put the duvet over the mother. Hmmm...
@emilkurtdiaz6935: the time where the russian guy talked to gaitok at the gate and he was at the middle of the vehicle barrier that was raised up, was the moment where the burglar's car entered, I think it was intentional for the russian guy to be there, maybe he's an accomplice. The model was also in the shop's dressing room during the burglary so maybe she's an accomplice too. Maybe it's Greg who planned that.
@Scorpio72350: Do you think there’s actually going to be tsunami? The Cicadas (insects) zoomed in showing them climbing to higher ground, Belinda here’s strange noises, but like somethings happening around her that she doesn’t understand, the opening shot in the premiere of ‘something’ in the ocean looking towards the resort. Maybe I’m reading too much in to it. But I do think Saxon is going to die, im not sure why, maybe a learning lesson to his parents of how superficial and shallow they are. But yeah, I think Saxon will die.
@nancymcconville664: Hmmm. Seems any number of characters could be responsible for the gun attack, directly or indirectly. Timothy rich dad’s illegal deal involved Asian bad guys, Rick has ties to questionable elements and wants revenge for dad’s murder that somehow involves the resort owners, Greg/Gary is known to be entangled with very bad people, and the body guards seem like they are casing the place.
@penbunk: in the opening each cast name is placed over an image that could be a hint of their characters fate (Rick alone in a tower, Tim tangled in the branches of a tree, etc); the name of the actor who plays Lochlan (Sam Nivola) is placed over an aparentely drowned man...I know is impossible they gave it just like that, but still...
@daphnia9664: i think the 3 ladies will end up having a similar fate to the one of the two couples that cheated with eachother in last season, as in something horrendous will happen because of their dynamics but in the end they will all just pretend that nothing happened as they leave thailand because that is just how it works in these types of relationships, their bond is performative for the gain of social status
@Michael-s5b2z: Get the feeling that something truly horrible is about to happen.
@pixelpine483: My theory is that Pornchai (the guy Belinda maybe likes) is the guy that dies. I’ve noticed a little trend between the seasons. Season 1 Armond (Belinda’s friend) dies, season 2 Tanya (Belinda’s potential benefactor) dies. It seems anyone who gets close to Belinda dies. Hmmm🤔, just a theory.
@ericab845: I honestly think Rick will be at least one of the dead bodies in the end, afterall there were over 20 gun shots heard. he's the only one constantly sweating.
@ericab845: i think the big arc for the radcliffs is that their youngest son is gay, something his family except the daughter would struggle with, certainly his father and oldest brother and mother.
@ericab845: I'm sure this will not differ from the other two seasons and the rich will just walk away from their problems scott free, I'm sure this will hold for Timothy. I don't think it's belinda floating at the beginning her son would have gone to her instead he turned which makes me think it's staff or a stranger to him. Greg will probably also get away scott free and just move house. not sure about Rich did anyone else notice his girlfriend at one point called him "frank"? didn't make much sense. I'm finding season 3 thus far much less engaging than the other 2 hope it picks up.
@waterbearer4627: A few things...Mook is working with the bodyguards, she is in on the robbery along with Valentin. They all are. If you look at the promo photo for the season. It has 2 snakes that look like they are attacking certain characters. Piper is one of them and she will be the victim in the water that was floating. The other one is one of the gossiping women friend group. One of them will not survive. The self discovery moment isn't Piper's spiritualism but Lochy. His sexuality.
@jrebecca0195: Thanks for keeping your videos short and to the point but still thorough.
@Screenaddictlive: The middle brother was also sitting with the trans wait staff on the beach after they covered the mom with a blanket on the beach in her dream.
@SR-rz9uj: Funny to see the commenters upset about the Trump scene. Thought it was very realistic and timely. Had the same conversation with a relative, who is much like Bibb’s character. Describes herself as an independent but has always taken on her partner’s viewpoints, throughout her life.
@austincrawford9604: My theory which I have not heard anyone say but I believe it 100% is the robbers were Sritala's bodyguards and valentine was on it in order to make gaitok look bad so he could be in hot water with Fabian.
@adrstam996: Someone's going to die who doesn't deserve to die
@GustavsMauler: I just realized, I hope Gaitok isn’t the floating body we saw in e1. With how his arc is going, I could see him try to compensate for his mistake in letting the robbers in, by confronting the shooter. Especially if he feels the need to prove to Sritala that he has what it takes to be a body guard
@bwpitlik1290: I think Lochlan is trans which is why he covered his chest and was told he has a female side
@Monique-t6k: I can’t get into this season like the others 😢
@MultiVales: The snake scene was annoying cause I hate snakes so much I couldn’t even watch😮
@matheusvalestra2727: I heard this season was slow, but I didn't expect that slow...
@AniStoyanova-vy1lx: Victoria was wearing the same dress in her dream as she was wearing during the day. It must be intentional.
@alladin_payne: As someone with ophidiophobia, this was not an easy episode.
@Carboxylated: This season is the best! S1 was good and S2 was meh, but this season is beyond perfect so far. Eyes are glued to all the characters
@jamerjessica: I think Greg/Gary is the one who shoots the gun from the first episode killing Belinda because she knows too much about Tanya
@hype1906: Theory: The New Version of “Tonya” and “Greg” As we looked at Episode 3, this episode had so much symbolism it was hard to keep up at times. But as I started to really analyze Rick and Chelsea and their character dynamic, you realize they are basically the new version of Tonya and Greg. Chelsea is definitely aloof in her demeanor, but she is definitely the moral compass for the both of them. Rick is a Greg, but he has at his fork in the road….does he have an opportunity to redeem his morality before he becomes a total Greg… a person who lost his moral compass long time ago.
@TheGreenSheets: I remember when they said season 3 was going to be Thailand. I thought mmmh sounds not so interesting. We are on episode 3 . I may just skip and wait till season end. It’s so boring. I’m sorry. I’m surprised they got renewed. So far it’s not good
@ceciliaSF-TX: This third season is a great onion, its layers slowly being peeled away. Since we loved the first two seasons, our expectations are very high & it’s making too many viewers anxious & saying this season sucks or it’s too slow. It’s not.
@TiMarie13: Why so much focus on Austin? Seems significant.
@henrywux: Wtf did Belinda see lmao 😂
@gedigi9010: The dynamics of the three women are definitely coming out ,and no one wants to be friends with a Christian Texas Republican.
@jonathanconduff: Isn’t obvious that Saxon and Chloe already hooked up? I feel like that’s clear. We didn’t get to see the conversation about the boat either.
@battina: Predictions: A monkey will attack one of the three female friends; the bodyguards are the hotel thieves; Porchai and Belinda definitely have feelings for each other; Belinda felt Tanya’s “presence” in her room after dinner; and Valentin was previously in the Russian navy.
@paradiselover7580: Couldnt they have found some better looking guys
@betweenthetidess: Rick had a good episode, I like that we are learning more about him… Definitely think there’s a tie between his Dad & Hollinger. In the preview, Belinda does a little deep dive since the ongoing of season 1, so I’m wondering if we’re gonna figure out Greg’s true identity / Belinda figuring the truth out from the beginning. I think he lied regarding his occupation the BLM one and is just mob affiliated given how season 2 ended with Tanya. T-Rat is popping those pills like candy so I think he’s going to have a lot of time where he’s blacked out and chunks of time are missing…. I am craving more details though there’s so much more I wanna know.
@soreloser18: If that man would have gave up his phone to begin with he probably could have got out of the mess but implicated himself more by speaking with that man on the phone
@kamalam102: I can't believe anyone could even watch this drivel
@IsaiahMercado-t1n: I just finished this episode. I think this episode is pushing the story forward with all the characters. Especially since a bunch of them will be on Gregs boat. Also, Greg instantly recognized Belinda when she arrived at his table. You could see it in his face. I still think Jim is actually Ricks dad and not responsible for his Dads death. This show does a good job of trying to lead you down one way and actually going down another path.
@diegoc1367: I think this episode set up conflict among the groups of triples we’ve seen, and this is foreshadowed by the scene with the lizards (two fight a little and the middle one leaves). Also there seems to be several set of triples in the season: three kids, three friends, three couples, three guards, and perhaps more that have gone over my head.
@RobertaDillon-l6n: No. Harbinger the husband in Bangkok faked his death and his son is Rick
@maureen6907: Chelsea is a red herring? Shes not the person she is being made out to be. Too innocent acting imo.
@jenm1: Chloe tells the story of how gary's wife killed herself, in the same way Victoria walked into the ocean. but i think identity will play a role and we'll get victoria being the protector and more aware that is usually tim's role
@cbojorquez: I loved the first scene. It is sad, haunting, and terrifying at the same time. It is definitely one of the most successfully crafted scenes in the entire show. Victoria looking so small, vulnerable, and helpless before the massive waves is a brilliant representation of the cataclism that is about to hit the Ratfliff family. About the three gorgons, Kate was the last one to be trashed by her so-called friends. These three women are made for one another and deserve the friends they have. I still kind of like Gaitok, but the way he chases Nook is starting to feel a little creepy. Also, I'm starting to suspect that Nook is quite not the sweet, innocent girl she seems to be. I have to say that for the first time, I saw a huge mistake, and that was when a snake bit Chelsea. I mean, suffering an attack from a cobra and returning to your hotel a couple of hours later with only a bandage covering the bite is simply not plausible. In real life, Chelsea would have been hospitalized for at least the rest of the week. Or maybe her "good magic vibes" helped her fight the venom. I don't know, it just doesn't feel very realistic to me.
@hatarbalenciaga8905: Was a lot of focus on the intro artwork this episode... Anybody have tried to break that down yet?
@AliSaidMansour67: Episode felt a bit flat to me
@redscorpion1090: Brilliant episode and analysis!
@edithnye1756: I am really bored. The music makes me turn the sound off
@ericab845: I could have done without the 'did you vote for Trump" conversation, maybe it shows just how superficial the three women's relationship is, yes they were friends as kids but haven't really kept in touch and the fact that two of them would be willing to turn on their 'friend' because of who she may have voted for, just proves that this is a very superficial threesome.
@ericab845: I loved the white lotus seasons 1 & 2 but is anyone else having trouble getting really into Season 3? I don't know what it is, the characters just appear so predictable and less interesting than the prior two seasons. Also in the prior two seasons nature played such an important part, here other than the monkeys watching....I don't know it just doesn't seem as dramatic as the other two.
@keneisner3445: With all this talk of Gaitok being potentially in trouble, or even fired, everyone seems to have forgotten that we know from a previous trailer that his boss gives him a gun and shows him how to use it.
@bitukukuasukgremany3: It's not just me, right? Season 3 Sucks. 1/2 were Gold What company pays for Masseuse to go to Thailand to get training from Hawaii? That's right no one. Working Plus training Maybe, Big maybe. I don't care about anyone, do like up beat English Girl. You just know that Guard is going to die, or his want to be girlfriend. But who cares!! Season has no focus, and the people are dull*
@CR_22: If that man says I’LL BE BACK I’m gonna have a heart attack
@CR_22: The outside stuff doesn’t work in the show and never will because it’s a single setting tv show so we’re never gonna go to his office or home so it’s completely pointless to focus half the show on that you know you’re writing for the hotel/resort setting it should be obvious to find a way to keep it there
@du2081: I don’t get the people saying it’s too slow, like the dream I feel this episode was the calm before the storm. Shits about to go down and I liked the episode 🤷🏻♀️
@CR_22: At least we didn’t get the freaky brother connection this time around 😂
@CR_22: Belinda I just can’t care about she wants dude then acts like he’s weird for flirting like wtf is this mess
@CR_22: Trump episode 🤦♂️
@CR_22: Greg being Rick’s dad can’t be the thing that happens 😂 come on man
@CR_22: Snoozefest this episode
@HuntClubBarbie: Was a filler episode. Lots of extended, unwarranted pauses and inane conversations. Parker Posey's character actually skipping away to 'get ready for her massage'. Too many closeups on Timothy's anxious face. Security guard is in trouble for letting the thief's car onto the grounds. Valentin is to blame for creating a distraction for the thief's car to get past the gate....
@dancingpixie6120: I think Loch might be gay. There seem to be homosexual characters in every season so far. Would explain his disinterest in Saxons porn too. Just an opinion.
@justayoutuber1906: The acting this season is HORRIBLE - from the terrible "NC accent" to Schwarzenegger's creeper kid. The whole thing seems "off".
@mask9822: Tha Ratliff father seems like he is saying/doing what his sons/dauther like to say goodbye
@princet6969: I will say this season has brought me closer to my wife she enjoys all the clues updates reviews political views we are now more in tune with feelings about a lot of stuff i never would have thought a tv show would bring us closer afyer 25 years of marraige when we go out for breakfast people look at us wondering what we are talking about
@levinebette15: The boat!when the boat trip was mentioned, my ears perked! Is it the same boat?
@jerrychacko2661: A theory floating around after this episode is Saxon could be behind the case that's getting his dad in trouble. Since he works for his dad, I'm sure he's met his dad's clients and coworkers, and seeing that Tim's coworker got Tim into trouble, Saxon could have seen that as an opportunity to take over his dad's position. Saxon is work-driven and desires success over his family
@pattip2639: Mike White is so brilliant that if he is making Gaitok look so sweet and innocent it makes me think that he is behind the robbery and is actually a bad person and is diabolical. Mike likes to make us think one thing and then whiplash that theory. Just a thought. Also, is an actual tsunami coming?!
@romedeiros1970: Am I alone in thinking that no one dies this season? The opening scene we hear gun shots but we didn’t really see a body and we weren’t told somebody died or was killed.
@TradeWynn65: What do you think about Valentin?
@margotk538: I feel that there are good moments this season but it’s way too slow. They could have shorten the episodes to just 45 minutes or combine the first 2 episodes to make it 90 minutes. Each episode doesn’t have a cliffhanger that makes me want to binge the next one…which is a fail in writing.
@slaps1455: 9:00 I feel like Rick is going to make it to a sickly Jim see Jim’s family around him and not go through with it. Either that or he’s the cause of the gunfire at the end of the week, with it being a shootout between him and the bodyguards
@AMYV3: Thank you ❤️ I’m wondering if it’s Victoria that is the shooter 🤷♀️
@Aroundthefire77: For those complaining about the mention of Donald Trump, Mike White has already said this season will be satirical and play with death in a fun way.
@Humdrumclock1: Episode sucked and I love this show :(
@Aroundthefire77: Her holding the meds at the beginning is a foreshadowing of Timothy who is going to take all her meds to suppress the stress. Once Victoria has. Or more medicine she is going to go off the deep end and you will see the true Victoria
@slaps1455: Laughlin is probably going to hook up with one of the trans Thai girls and discover that he’s queer. There’s been LGBT+ in every season so far.
@donbrown1284: The real theme of TWL3 is not spirituality but IDENTITY -- though spirituality is a subset of it. Furthermore, speaking of identity, I think the resemblance between Scott Glenn and Walton Goggins is no accident...as in the big reveal "I AM your father".
@paisan8766: I feel the twist is Jim Hollinger is his dad who abandoned Rick & his mom
@marknewman5842: Wouldn't it be funny if it turns out the gunshots at the beginning was a monkey finding a gun and the death is something completely different?
@LodisVlogs: I need the whole episode explained
@bolewts58: As he's watching footage of the 2004 tsunami, the son says, "the tsunami happened on the next beach over". The 2004 tsunami not only didn't happen on the next beach over it didn't happen anywhere near there at all. It happened on the opposite side of the country in a different ocean on the Island of Phuket and the beach resort of Khao Lak. Since they have mentioned on the show that White Lotus is on Samui Island, this is a really dumb mistake to make. Do they not do research? The idea that a tsunami would happen on one beach over but not touch their beach shows that they don't know how tsunamis work. Samui is a small island. If it was ever hit by a tsunami, it would be wiped out. I realize it's just a TV show. But they keep making stupid mistakes like this. And oh yes, the show is really boring. There's more actual murder, mayhem, chaos and weirdness in the country of Thailand on a weekly basis than is happening on this tepid show.
@jcymonemusic2298: I think the bodyguards are the burglars that Gaitok couldn’t stop.
@fernandobatresarias: Watching this show feels like if im reading a book yk
@fernandobatresarias: 9:48 Bro I was dying when they mentioned Donald Trump I felt like I was one of the friends asking her if she did vote for Donald Trump😭 .
@fernandobatresarias: 8:05 i feel like he might overd0se and end up in the sea
@fifireal1571: of course nobody can see the trans girls in the dream
@prairiegriffith7536: Greg is Ricks father
@prestonsampson3392: this is the least interesting season yet
@fernandobatresarias: Dude idk why but Belinda being carried like that in the pool kinda felt like foreshadowing but i hope it isn’t because we literally opened the show with belindas son in the water and being worried abt his mom and then he sees a body in the water😭
@markmeyerson9354: not enough is happening per episode - feels like padding
@taylorsversion6333: The phone ringing on the table while the dad pretended to be fine reminded me of Edgar Allen Poe’s ‘Telltale Heart’ with the heart beating under the floorboards.
@armoghetto: I love that each season seems to have an employee desperate to raise ranks or achieve a change at almost all costs. The body language theme was very evident and said a lot about each character. Oh! Shifty Greg. Wasn’t he revealed to be secretly gay last season or was that just an another ploy for a different prey..? You never free snakes! He need to set the free tho. Loving this season.
@rohaanhasan8578: I think as you said Rick saw himself as those snakes. So maybe he's gonna harm/kill Chelsea by mistake as one of those released snakes bit her in the leg
@uknownmatter4576: Welp , now we know he’s not Ricks father or some crazy obsessed fan. The guy definitely was responsible for his dads death , now we wait to see if he was directly responsible or maybe even a Luigi (Ceo killer) situation
@PerfectoKiss: What a snooze episode. BTW, the tsunami footage was real and it was a child, not a man. Very sad and horrific video of a child getting wiped by the tsunami.
@gardenroom66: It can only get better….
@sectionalsofa: Love your take on The White Lotus. I've been following you since season 2.
