I kind of wish I read the comics beforehand, but maybe that would have changed my outlook on it (kind of like how Harry Potter fans constantly say the books are better than the movies). The past 10 or so years have been great, and I can’t wait for the last season. The story, character progression/interactions (or what some ppl would call the boring parts), and the action have all been great. So many different emotions and thought processes/personalities have been displayed in this show too.

Steel Midnight: Everyone gives Negan a hard time, but did they forget that Ricks group technically drew first blood (since Negan had no clue about the rogue group Daryl blew up) and slaughtered a whole compound in thier sleep? AND on top of this, burned some of them alive? Negan was using the philosophy of "Kill one to save 100". He picked Glen, not knowing Maggie and him were expecting, to scare them in line (after all they were very dangerous) because he didnt want to do Rick in front of a kid. Maggie has a right to be upset on the one hand, but on the other- war is war. And she is being self righteous and selfish in wanting to drag it on. She is accepting zero accountability for her own actions which lead to those tragic consequences. Maybe in the first year I could see this attitude blinded by greif, or even a couple years- But its been almost a decade in WD time. Come on already, Maggie. Understand your own role in what happened, and that it was two sides of a war, and let it go already....

MM 27: I do not like this storyline. I honestly do not understand Maggie’s blood lust for Negan. Yeah we all loved Glenn, but Rick’s group murdered a bunch of Saviors in cold blood first, which then caused Negan to retaliate. It was brutal and awful to see Negan kill Abraham and Glenn, but Negan was only going to kill one of Rick’s group at first in retaliation for the many Saviors lives taken by Rick’s group. Maggie may not ever like or forgive Negan, but the blood score was settled years ago IMHO
