Didelphi Morphia: Samwell is a good man. Even after all the unimaginable abuse, he still weeps for his father. Who did not deserve him.

whutzat: This was a badly written, poorly imagined, awkward scene.

KEVIN FELIX: just proves to show mercy would of made him an Allie but trying to show strength when mercy could of been shown made that whole attempt by her to make friends pointless

Michel: John Bradley-West is a brilliant actor

matthew ulrich: WOOP'S

Dan the Man: This should have been the moment Daenerys learned that her impulsive behavior has a price. It should have reminded her that she's fighting to prove she isn't her father. Instead she just rolls over it like "well I burned them that's too bad for you."

wassuup: I respect these decisions. I can see why DD wrote this. You want to kill someone for a not good written episode

Vermillion: This was a pretty heartbreaking scene. I know he didn't care much for his father; Even less his father him. But it was still his family. It broke my heart further when he tried to look on the bright side and was met with even worse news about his brother. This scene is powerful because it's also incredibly real. War over anything spills blood. Every person who dies in the war leaves behind loved ones who care for them. Samwell was put in an incredibly hard situation; Being the presence of the Queen he means to serve and the one directly responsible for killing his family. I reckon he took that with more grace than anyone could.

franz: Daenerys could have been more gentle considering the nature of Sam. “ I met your father and brother in the battle field and both fought and fell with honor for their house.” Instead of “ I offered yada...yada .. yada”. Maybe Sam would have understood that either his father or brother would die or she does.

Kirk Meyer: should have put him in a position to ask for something bigger

Arthirias: That's some damn good acting, not gonna lie

Shaun Adamson: Samwell: "At least I'll be allowed home again, now that my brother's the lord." Daenerys: "Your brother stood with your father" *Camera cuts to Peter Griffin* "OOOOOOOOOOOOOOH"

Scott Shadrick: Well, that was somewhat more awkward than anyone thought it would be.

Maynard Adriano: i honestly wished dany couldve been more human than a queen at this moment and offered an apology and a hug to sam....

Orion V: John Bradley is probably the ONLY reason why season 8 is worth watching. His performance as Samwell is truly magnificent. I really hope to see more of him on screen in the future.

SerbAtheist: This is the scene where it all starts crumbling for Dany, for it was here that Sam realised she was a cold-hearted monster. No empathy or sympathy from Dany. She's not even the slightest bit apologetic. It's like she can even barely comprehend why Sam is sad for his father and brother. This is what made him feel there is something off about Dany and that he should immediately tell Jon about his lineage and as we all know, that opened up a whole can of worms that ultimately swallowed Dany.

Evo Sagan: small world, eh?

woyame1: One of the stupidest scenes of season 8. Their whole culture is centered around being identified by birth and family (remember that guy who has to be called John Snow, not Stark, because he's thought to be a bastard?). So we're supposed to believe Ser Jorah didn't find out the full name of his savior? And that Dany upon hearing it wouldn't make sure he's not related to 'that' Tarly. Sloppy, lazy, stupid writing.

Exposing Proxy Stalking Organized Harassment: The translation of this scene is that Sam Tarly is now Lord of House Tarly. Sam got his promotion. Jorah Mormont seemed a little uneasy based on his facial expressions? My ancient ancestors were related to an imperial dynasty. I am a clan descendant of emperors and who were lords of the previous dynasty. My ancestors decided to fight in the civil wars for the throne and won it all, after they conquered all rival claimants for the crown.

Socially Introverted: Well that wasn't awkward as hell!!! Dany -Ummmm, I roasted your dad. Sam - Well i guess that's okay. At least I have my brother Dany - yea, about that...

Brian Switzer: D- I burned your father. S- (Sniffle) Well, I'll be home soon since my brother- D- Burned him too. S- (Shaky sob) Goodness. I guess myself and Gilly- D- Burned. S- (Shoulders heave as he holds back tears) Gilly too? Who will take care of little Sam? D- You might want to sit down for this one.

integral: One of those scenes that doesn't stand up to examination. Dani would surely have asked the name of the person who saved Jorah, would have known who she was going to meet, and would never have presented the information about the death of Sam's family in the same way.

Grant Harriman: I have to give her credit. She owned her actions. Everyone present can clearly see why she did what she did, so there is no anger, and she feels no remorse, she'd do it the same way all over again if she had to, but damn the emotions are rough. Love this scene.

Bram Schipper: "So this is the guy who saved your life?" "Yeah" "Oh cool who is he?" "What's his name?" "Is he someone?" Guess Dany was to stupid to ask any of those questions

J Da: This scene confirms for Daenerys (in some way) what Tyrion called "impulsive." Luckily, in the next episode he's a fool anyway.

Steven Schwartzhoff: He stole the sword before his father was killed, so it was still a theft even if the sword is his now.

The Monopoly Guy: It’s the little moments like these that made us love GOT not the cgi battle scenes

Jiminy Lummox: Mahhh.. I mean. Sams dad was a complete prick. As for his brother, they never once went in to any backstory about Sam and Dickon's relationship, but since Dickon decided to die with his dad, despite being given every opportunity not to, we can only assume he looked up to him, and since he was, as mentioned a prick, maybe Dickon was too? Besides. Sam's mom and sister are still alive, and they were really nice, and also now Sam is is the Lord, so yeah.. not too bad all up.

Rajat: Comments are new here.

TheJPJT1234: One of my favourite characters... and you killed two of his family 😭

Steven Kang: This is the exact moment Sam becomes Heisenberg.

Victoria Shaw: That is the most awkward situation to ever happen

B Blutarsky: I searched "awkward" and it brought me here.

stuperfried: Damn she can kill you in so many different ways lol.

Giovanni V: “My brother will be the Lord, so at least I’ll be allowed back home” “Welllllll actually “

Abestar123: This is yet another example of how bad the writing was in the last season, she should've learned from this experience.

- iTz-sCRYed -: Dany: I burned your father. Sam: I'll be home soon since my brother... Dany: I burned him too... Sam: YOU BITCH!! Guts Dany...... THE END!!

Jaskaran grewal: sam after tgus i am about to end this women whole career

jkpttr: This is actually a hilarious scene lmao why’d they have to give Sam the line “I’ll be able to return home since my brother is the lord” why couldn’t dany just let him know about both deaths first

stevevr1965: Oof that was painful to watch

Neil W: Brutal

Charlie Preidis: I never understood why Sam would be so upset to hear of his father’s death. Dickon’s death I understand but his father was cruel and abusive. He literally threatened to kill Sam.

Richard Rearick: Dam

Earth is a Pyramid: Quest "Deliver the news to Sam" completed You received the title "Bitch of the seven kingdoms"

左藤明: Sam let tear
