kandyrew: The Sentinel's charged shot mechanic recently received a rework where it no longer has disruptor rounds, but instead does straight up amped damage. The previous iteration of the charge mechanic on the Sentinel didn't count headshot damage and instead only took away shields. When charged with the new version, I believe it hits for 88 damage to the body, up from the 70 base. This new version give it much higher headshot damage potential and honestly I prefer it!

Donavan McNeish: I don’t understand how this is a good rework. With the disruptor rounds you automatically break shields. And in this rework with disruptor rounds it looks like I seen a lot of eighties and headshots which is great for a good player but for people who mainly go for body shots this isn’t really worth it/ people with worse aim than a former apex predator. Also the headshot damage before was at 140, that is pretty insane already. I just think this is worse and I don’t understand why respawn did It. Side note kandy said in this video that if you use disruptor rounds on white shield it’s not good cause it only does 50 damage but still I do t think that matter because you can still just keep firing at red health or switch to your secondary. Maybe someone can explain what I’m missing here.
