Josie Borchert: I'm sorry for splitting hairs, but thought this could be an education moment (that is ultimately pointless): Anyways, while talking about Robert Pickton, you talked about him taking the insanity way "not in the normal way", but there are a few conditions by which someone is deemed incompetent to stand trial OR if they were not "sane" when they committed the crime. From what I understand in ONE STATE I worked in (not...everything...but some), the two ways by which someone is deemed not responsible for reason of insanity is that they don't understand what they're doing (as the jurors tried to say this individual did) and not understanding that your actions were wrong (Like yeah I killed my mom but she had been turned into a vampire and I couldn't let her go on living like that...) All of this is completely pointless, though, because the jury doesn't get to decide that! It's a choice for lawyers and their clients and definitely involves professional advice, not people who were so easily manipulated by a master manipulator. Someone who didn't understand wouldn't hide the fuckin' body... THanks for the awesome vid!!

direcircumstances: I really appreciate the little tangent you went on at the end about how these people are losers. The idolization and romanticizing of serial killers really bothers me too. Those guys preyed on people who were often innocent and defenseless, people who were just trying to live their lives and were never expecting a random stranger to attack them. Serial killers aren't cool, brooding antiheroes - they are cautionary tales about human cruelty and untreated mental illness.

Steam Powered Pines: another thing i saw about the Paul guy near the end is that he escaped being a suspect because he was just considered a cool well-rounded man. Police thought, well it cant be this guy. The video i watched actually made me cry from how brutal it actually was. Wendigoon only covered a small portion of what this guy did. I wouldn't recommend watching it though

This means that seeing a white person in any of the abduction locations would have been EXTREMELY noticeable to residents. While I do not doubt some killings of children were done at the hands of Klan members, Wayne Williams is undoubtedly the Atlanta Child Murderer. The motive, timetable, victim pool, locations, and Wayne's behavior during questioning and the fact killings stopped after he was caught making that very evident.
