The first was slow, and nothing seemed to really be going on as it would take several episodes for anything of note to happen, if it ever really happened. The first half of Season 2 is why I've been so impatient for the second half to finally start airing. It was reasonably quick, even compared to other anime, and averted expectations as the protagonist made major decisions and sacrifices. Opinionated and permanent character development. You know, the thing main characters NEVER seem to do. My Next Life, probably going to be my most anticipated of the year. Seirei Gensouki, "Wait, that's actually new." Does Joey actually watch anime? Because that's probably the number 1 method of Isekai.

Heion Sedai no Idaten-tachi : written by Amahara (Ishuzoku Reviewers) and art by Cool-kyou Shinja (Dragon Maid), I've read a few chapters of the manga and it's pretty good Vanitas no Carte : studio Bones picked it up so there's going to be some good animation at least, and I just like the art Sonny Boy : a studio Madhouse original with the director of ACCA13 and Onepunch Man
