I very much prefer to just hate the ending than hate the entire anime. Goldy point, Yugo and Lucas were the high point of the story, it's a shame that they got cut out like that so easely.

blazen whiper: If I had to guess why PNL is going full anime original and skipping so many arcs, i'd bet they know they aren't getting a 3 season. Probably someone at the top deciding that working on a series like PNL, which would *require* 5+ arcs to finish wasn't financially worth it, and thus decided to nix it after season 2. Probably wanted to focus on the number of animes they could push out rather than just working on one anime.

Old RandomCheetah: VERY unpopular opinion: As a anime only, I really enjoy this season so far. Yeah I can tell there's quite a few things skipped but I don't think it's garbage like all the manga readers say. I do understand and feel bad for the manga readers to have their expectations destroyed, but you have to understand for anime onlys we don't know any details of the skipped arcs. We don't know the characters they removed so we can't feel disappointed because we were never introduced to them in the first place. The only thing we know is what's in the anime and in my opinion it doesn't feel rushed at all.

QueenMariposa5: At first I didn't mind the show going original, I don't necessarily think that's a bad thing since I enjoyed both FMA adaptations. There, they replaced whatever was skipped with new characters, plotlines, lore etc. But here nothing is being replaced, just plain skipped and the show is moving way too fast. Probably should've realized early on about Yuugo and the other escapees being cut since they weren't referenced at all in the OP, but Mujika and Sonju were.

I bet you that if they do have the return of the goldy pond arc that they will skip Emma's fatal injury, that's was the most interesting part for me and when they didn't show yugo I started complaining to my friend about why isnt he there like come on.(she was confused about who the heck I was talking about.) The worst part is I was so excited to see how they introduced a few characters who I totally (could not be me) started simping for. I wanted to see how they would animate them.
