But the shelter actually had more which was hinted by Chris's remark after the man mentioned the 2 entryways. So idk if that, in particular, hints of more shelters being available. NO SPOILERS; I only watch the anime, and will eventually buy the full manga series

P R Y 効果: They have a lot of options with Isabellas character. For right now, there doing well but if they wanted to later she could help them in the outside world once she finds them. It would make sense because its the same reward just her kids who she loves get to go with her. Or, she could continue to try to find them and work with the demons. I think that shes probably getting scammed rn with the demons tho. I say that because they can't casually send her to the human world thats breaking the promised of 1000 years. Something even Minerva couldn't do. I'm excited to see what they do with her character.

But at the end of the day the show will never have the same original as the manga plot in my opinion being an manga reader n anime watching I’ve learnt that it’s literally to different worlds with one results it’s not that deep the show is still enjoyable.

Hazel Maple: Maybe Isabella s extra reward is finding out Leslie (the boy from her backstory and she got her song from) is Alive and she can be with him again? I don’t see how she can go to the human world but I never finished the manga ...not that this matters much anymore clearly so that’s just guessing but I can see her getting motivation from that

Shamar Gillings: Reading comments to be fair the more kids die the sooner the series ends and so I believe their trying to stretch it out because at the end of the episode it looks as though the “‘mother” (the one who cared for the kids at the old farm) was told a secret so important that it will change the series. My biggest disappointment in the series was the fact none of the kids stole any of their weapons.

Carlos Caballero: I heard that the manga author is overview the anime adaptation, maybe they are trying to improve the story taking into account the criticism because of the mixed opinions. Don't get me wrong, I love the manga, story and characters, and I'm kinda disappointed, but I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt and hopefully we'll see Yuugo and Goldie Pond later on. (Or Promised Neverland Brotherhood in 2031 🤷🏻‍♂️)

Ventus S: Basically what Clover Work does to Promised Neverland is equivalent to: 1. Naruto remove entirety of Chunin Exam arc. 2. Hunter x Hunter remove Yorknew City arc and all the following arcs connected to it. 3. One Piece remove Ace rescue arc 4. Bleach remove Rukia rescue arc I hope I give enough reference for comparison sake why the manga readers are making such a big deal of it. It is literally 1/3 of the whole manga and one of the most important arcs too, discussing about all the world building and character development. PS: Japanese and Chinese are way madder than Mal users here. Like wayyy worse. PS2: Aside from butchering plot, they also add anime original stuff such as Emma allowing her family to "test poison" (she's a saint who'd sacrifice everything of herself for her family, so how on earth this could make sense? Let alone letting 3 of them test it together?)

Alicia Maltais: You forgot to mention something REALLY important about the 4th episode tho ; that *cutesy, little* montage is actually a HUGE timeskip that covers from january 2046 to february 2047. So they were at the shelter for a year and a month when the farm located them.

ToxicDragon X: Personal Theory: I think the demon offered Isabella Ray, hence her surprise as he's a top scorer, and that surprise would be more exaggerated as it was after the demon said how valuable they were.

Mak Attack2o2: As a person who read past the Goldy Pond arc and dropped it thereafter, I felt as though the manga simply dropped in the tone it set for the first arc/first season. It was all about the deal with Norman and that whole deal and a bunch of things bothered me in a way that made me miss the same feeling we had with the first arc. Not to say the smoother, more lighthearted-ish arcs are bad(As they are well deserved for the characters) it just felt as though the value of the victories felt hollow in a way. To the point where I couldn't care much about these children. Hencewhy, I dropped it. Now, with this anime original content I'm actually rather excited for it. (Unless someone in the comments could convince me to read the manga again) I could maybe see this in a different light and enjoy the characters more. I will quietly follow the progress of where they'll take this original story.

Edit: Guns makes sense is 2047 and we already know that there is a human world. In the manga losing the shelter is very emotional and way better. But they are giving a little more protagonist to the kids. They still can go to Goldy Pond by the way.

YamiJai: I know that one thing manga readers said is that Emma was brought to Goldy Pond so fast so maybe that’s why they’re rearranging and making an anime original arc just so that it feel that Emma isn’t going to Goldy Pond that quickly if it does get animated it most likely will be in season 3 the cliffhanger for season 2 will probably be Emma waking up in Goldy Pond or her and all the other kids will all wake up there

HolyFang_: The goldy pond arc (which is the one they supposedly skipped) has way too many important details for them to just skip

Flutter Nightlight: So, there were soo many things that made the entire season 2 disappoint me, and its not just the cutting of the Goldy Pond arc and Yuugo, although that was a big reason. There were so many scenes where the characters were in the dark and I can't see them or the background clearly. The CGI demon wasn't the best, personally. I think AOT season 4 did a better job with their CGI, because that fit their art style more. Also, the darkness in the scene just made the CGI demon even more confusing. There was a lot of scenes that I felt were just to drag out the time so the episode will fit the 20 minutes without being shorter.

If this is what we have to look forward to for the rest of the season then this adaptation is a failure. This first completely original episode is a huge dip in quality compared to season 1 and even the first 3 episodes of season 2.

Brandon Broadhurst: I agree we have to wait and see . . . we are just shy of half way through the season. Even a little early to discuss possible plot holes, in my opinion. I agree there were things in this episode that didn't make total sense or seemed a little convenient plot-wise, but I am hoping these things were possibly meant to seem that way and are explained later on. Still plenty of time for that to happen. Just have to wait and see!
