フクロウ猫: On another note I truly believe they intended to make a season 3 when they first started storyboarding and planning out season 2, but when they saw the backlash that the erasure of Goldy Pond and some of the best goddamn characters in the story created, they scrapped it and threw in the PowerPoint because they weren't gonna spend more money figuring out a new ending.

A wanted man: What volume of the manga is after season 1

フクロウ猫: //watches TPN S2 "Man, Geoff is gonna tear this apart" I've been waiting for this video with bated breath

Sarah Tang: I reason they scrapped the goldy pond arc and changed everything was because many manga readers complained how the ending was really bad so the the anime company decided to change it but unfortunately it didn't work out at all. They saw how much hate people have toward animes with bad endings so they decided to change it but ended up having much more hate than if they kept the original manga ending.

George M: Omg they had a Save Martha moment? I'm so glad I haven't watched this season 😂

kongfeet81: Watching the first two episodes of this season inspired me to read the manga in its entirety, I regret nothing

Mearī Tatsumaki: Let's just pretend that TPN S2 was a fanmade

vertigox_: I still can't believe I continued to watch not only after they cut out the good ol' Yuugo from the entire storyline, but when they cut out Goldy Pond as well.

tiagocosmos: now here's a shame. I was excited but now i'll never bother with this series again. Not unless I want to read the manga ever which I doubt i will.

Angye Nobre: I didn't bother watching the anime because of the reviews of how it butchers the manga, but do they even explain how Emma loses her ear? Or do they just go about it like "hah she has a braid now isn't that cute"

Homspie: I'm just sad that they just speed trough all that story

Zaifon: To be honest u can get used to geting dissapointed by anime new seasons at least we can be happy that we even got second season while many great animes doesnt get that chance.

Orenji: They don't even give a sweet moment of Ray and his mother Isabella

SilvarusLupus: Hmm now I'm suddenly glad I decided to start reading the manga

WhyYouNo: I got bored after they Skipped through time

Rixxrdo: fax

Dink: They don’t like to touch on kids with guns or stuff about gods or religious figures in animation so whilst it soooo sucks I can see some stubborn higher ups messing the entire pipe line by trying to be too cautious

mulattens: Still than better Got s8, that was real pain

Dip Ghosh: What is owl? (haven't watched it)

Milagro Man: It’s a fucking show about babies. I love anime but it’s been a show about babies, what did you expect.

Eytan Levine: I usually agree with your opinion but come on dude season two was great I mean yeah the end was rushed but come on

Mat C: The reason the anime in S2 was so bad was because it was rushed and was basing itself on a manga that was also rushed

Slenderforest: Norman: time to kill all demons Emma: talk no jutsu

陳雪嵐: Well yeah the 2nd season really was a disappointment to me tbh. Since some of the important things were taken out like the guy in the hideout and the line that was said by mosika (don’t know if I spelt it right) changing what mom was in the manga.

174 B Srijan Sukumar: I had put TPN into the list of shows with most potential after S1 and then this is what we get

yvkuae: they fucking forgot yuugo

Fluffyth3f0x: i could listen to MB scream for hours, there's something about his voice when angry that you just can't resist listening to. and also the fact that anything he rips into is framed in a way that you just have to watch.

Lee: I've ended reading the Promised Neverland manga recently, though I didn't watch its anime. Honestly, it was the only manga I finished so far, such a great thing🤤

Muka Konkola: Martha!!!

lexalina132: So... am i the only one out there who enjoyed the second season and it's ending..? I mean, yeah, many aspects could have been better but, uh... you're screaming about it. Quite literally in some moments. Is your throat okay after all that? Happy manga reading, this video was arguably one of the most unpleasant i've seen in awhile.

daly5297: They just completely ruined a masterpiece. I have never been more disappointed in anime in my life and I watched a lot of disappointing anime . Honestly why? How did the producers think this was a good idea? Aren’t there editors and screen-writers ? Not to be cocky or anything, I could’ve done a better job myself and I suck at writing. I’ll just pretend this never happened and carry on with the manga . The manga that I’ve withheld from reading for 2 years because I wanted to be an anime-only! This an absolute disaster.

Elli May: Here's the kicker None of the writers wanted to be credited for episode 10 You know you fucked up when you don't even want to be acknowledged holy fuck

Tsukiyomi Mizu: this country is a snowflake nuff said thats y

MattIsLoling: 10:11 this really made me say "oh my god.." outloud lmao

MattIsLoling: eh im glad i enjoyed season 1 and never picked back up season 2

imran ali: The only reason I clicked on this video is because Phil was on the thumbnail😐

ELAD: becuse you have a brain

Max Bidzi: I read the manga and it’s extremely good But what the fuck did they do to it

noah thorntonn: yo at least they didn’t change the animation like sds...

Lemon: I was listening to my cousin who read the manga and watched the S2 iteslf and Immediately from Excited to Dissapointed instantly

LeNitro: Anime reboot please?

Demene: Alright, hear me out on this. TPN Season 2: Brotherhood. How does that sound? But with one really long season from the start of the manga to the end. Sure minor breaks between the season, as long as it ends. Really wanted to see Goldy Pond and older Norman.

Gawr-Gawr Shark: TBH I liked all the things of S2 but I just cant stand the demon being from terrifying to a warm and kind heart, but it was pretty good

StaticShock42: It baffles me what were they thinking with season 2.

Viktor: Looks much better than S01

V G: Biggest problem for this anime and manga in general is that side characters are not made likable or memorable for the viewer/reader. You are told they are important but u cant see or feel it.

Hyakkimaru: Fun fact : On my anime list, Redo of Healer has a better mark than The Promised Neverland Season 2

Max Manchester: when are we getting a promised neverland brotherhood

Vlad Cirus: Oh the manga ending is also pretty bad

bartley dacutanan: Don't worry the more people talk about it and the more traction it gets, the more likely it will get reworked like FMA so ye!

Ninja: About Carol, I also brought that up with my sister while watching and I did think I saw one of the adult women hold a small child, so I assumed that was her.

Ami A: Confused s2 doesn’t exist. I watched something that started off as season2 but I dropped it after 7 realising it wasn’t the promised Neverland

Toshinou Kyouko: I honestly wasn't even that much of a fan of the manga. Goldy Pond was cool, but after Yugo's death it got stale pretty fast, and it never regained the tension and writing that made so many people like it. It was at least a coherent story, though.

Luis Trujillo: Did they ever explain why there were bloody hand marks in the bunker??

Japanlover79: I get the whole kids with guns thing. But... that's what blu rays and M ratings are for.

Asian Jimmy: "I Hate The Promised Neverland Season 2" isn"t that everyone lol.

Andres Anderson: I literally stop watching the anime so I won't get spoiled when I read the manga

Kaiser: 1000 years of kids being shipped out in farms And being ate by demons only for Emma to meet and be saved by the only 2 demons in the world who don’t eat human and are immune to degeneration to think “hey I don’t wanna kill demons”

Tope Adekanbi: No goldy pond arc? no.....say it ain't so.....

Crucial: I think it was an inside job by the creator in order to make the dogshit parts of the manga look better by comparison and you cannot change my mind

Dániel Kertész: So what about owls?

Glenn Vatista: I'm actually glad this flopped tbh. Now you can actually enjoy the original source without trying hinder yourself. READ. It's popular, it's still subject to be absolutely ass. they just expect you to eat it up without criticism.

GYu Tp: Still not stopping Toonami from airing it; which is next week.

FlatCaterpillar: I don't really get it. The only good point of The Promised Neverland was the first arc of the manga. The anime decided to not include the most interesting parts of that arc, and the manga became shit after it anyway. Like the manga quickly got so bad I had to drop it, very quickly. This whole debacle doesn't make sense to me.

Leung Hiu Ching Oriana: 01:20 I love Chise and Alias~~ 07:50 They are not on anywhere? Oh my god, where is the Monster King that announced to the village to end eating humans. Parallel universe, I will take that, like FMA Brotherhhood. About guns, I have talked about it in another comment. Most likely doing it on Movie setting. Still waiting for Magi...

Ty Yoon: They Promised NeverAnime

future animator: Im tell u, it is bc of the gun scene.

RayRayismaplesyrup: They played me like a damn fiddle with only 12 episodes

F A N G: Industry: let's make the second season something spicy and go off material 😏 Everyone: literally no. That has NEVER worked out well. Industry: lol idc. Hold this L weebs.

Asa Carron: The fucking ending we’re just a bunch of pictures ??! 😫😫

19\ Felisitas Michella Purnomo: I was okay with the first few episodes Like "okay, anime original that is" Then Boom, it went straight down to the pit of hell

poppetjin: manga was better but still not as good at the beginning towards the end. I'm so fucking sad this series flopped.

Null for None: It's funny, cause I remembered it being mentioned that the manga's ending was disappointing too. So as an anime only fan, when I heard that the anime was going in a different direction I assumed it would be fine if it meant having a decent ending.... like I said, though I "assumed" maybe that was their plan though, make an anime ending so bad that it makes the manga's ending look like pure gold!!!

Seymour09: It hates you too

Lohaksama: Wait cloverworks work on the final half of DitF right?

Jello: The worst part about this is that the author actually closely worked with cloverworks on TPN so this shitty s2 was probably suggested by the author to make people read the manga out of sheer disgust for the anime

Graciegalaxy: I liked the anime and it's still my favorite but season 2 did was just okay. It need more explaining. I would have liked to see more about what happened to Norman and what happened after Emma, Ray, and Norman stayed in the demon world.

Leeann W.: Why did they rush through season 2? Ughh

Malcom: Cyberpunk and the promised neverland s2 they are the same

Devlin Burgess: I remember being disappointed with the first season of this show, with all the convoluted, slow-paced plans and the weird faces, but it had a great premise and I could at least understand why people were interested in it, unlike Darling in the Franxx. So, knowing that I was right about dropping it is actually cold comfort this time. It's honestly kinda overrides my objections to the first season anyway. Why complain about the start of the story if you know it's just gonna end up in the side of a ditch, forgotten?

Genn D: Y’all don’t understand how fucking annoying this is for me also for those kids who day no cussing I’m 23 so 🖕🏽forget you ok I’m good now

Caleb Stephon G. Montecillo: Me and my friend loved the manga he had most of thd volumes and I bought some of them but I borrowed his most od the time and we always kept up and bought the volumes to read together I havent kept up with the manga but I didnt watch the anime at all

Salah Shinigami AMV: The only thing they got right was the OSTs

Phil Oliver LOC: who cares if it is short I loved TPN it my fav anime it isnt nice to hate like you said you dont know the reason they ended it so fast who knows maybe they couldnt finsh it because they had other things to do or something also who cares if it not want you wanted just read the manga or try to make it yourself or something

Gross: It’s sad. They could have just waited!!!

random stuff: I can't help but think, if the prospect of no 3rd season is what prompted the rushed ending, they may have been better off leaving it on the cliffhanger. It doesn't give that satisfying sense of closure, but it leaves the door open to do more later and its far less of a train wreck than rushing into an ending very few like.

Dale Towns Blount: Jeff I wanna know about the owls

Zornamations: The season started good when they weren't being fully original. and I felt like going original would have been a decent idea after the 2 best arcs in the manga. but they skip those and try to follow the manga while also not and it just gets really bad, I'm glad I stopped at the episode where Norman came back.

Nae naed: I hear nothing beside facts

Robert Wyatt: Instead of watching promised never land season 2, just watch Mob Psycho 100 instead.

RabidDogma: The problem with the "kids with guns" theory is that Japanese companies literally NEVER CONSIDER ANYTHING BUT THE JAPANESE AUDIENCE. Seriously. They don't care. They're concerned with the Japanese market. They regularly let translators make bad translations and personal preference changes (even when they're contrary to the actual material, down to the damn characters names - LUmillion, anyone? Mirio's name is literally ru-mi-ri-o-n, not re, RU - because literally all they think about is how the show is received IN THE HOME MARKET. They care about creating a show that advertises the manga. That's it. That's always been it. They don't care about English or French or Spanish considerations. I would say, without a doubt, it was a shortsighted "just get it done, the manga's over already" attitude. They ignored that Demon Slayer DESTROYED One Piece last year on the sales of past volumes, and that a very well done anime could have pushed the past volume market for years to come. It's just bad business decisions on their part.

raphael samonte: oh my god can yall just appreciate the animators hard work do yall know how long it takes to make one episode for ffs stop complaining

Leon Crayon: Also hold on lmao the promise in the anime doesn’t even make sense because yk, she has to give something in exchange yea well how does that work, what did she give to change the promise? The guy wanted her memories/family? Make it make sense how could she have changed the promise or whatever else she did and also the whole queen arc wouldn’t even make sense how JUST HOW. EVEN THE SLIDE SHOW DOESNT MAKE SENSE💀🔫😃

Void: I thought I was the only one who was so underwhelmed by this.... I didn’t even finish because I got bored watching it. First season was so scary, pure horror but now... boring, meaningless, dull and not even a tiny bit horror. Thumbs down.

Valley Swerve: Aw yes Shaman King, where the actually manga ending is black pill af and the sequel has Yoh or whoever summon a Japanese war criminal and the author goes on an ultra nationalist binge.

CosmicOwl: i love this angry review

K. Moreno: so you could say season two was the real promised neverland?

EnnJayy: WAITTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT so the story is different from Manga?!!

dr. Phil: Manga is really great i really reccomend that to who dosent like the anime.

Lupus Pierre: I'm just glad I didn't start season 2. So in my mind, the show ended with finding out Isabella is Ray's mother and I'll just imagine the children ended up escaping and Norman died
