RudySpino: I fully believe this rumor. It make sense to me. I believe what happened was this, often seasons of TV, especially animation are produced in seasons of 22 episodes or so. CC released in 2 packs of 8 and then the latest one was 10. A bit irregular. I suspect that the 5 rumored seasons we have in total are actually roughly 2 or 3 seasons of content that was planned ahead of time and then cut up into 5 smaller chunks instead of 2 or 3. Why? Because dominion's delay was announced a few months before the show came out so they probably originally wanted it to all be put by June 2021 to tie into dominion, but when the delay was announced they cut up the content they had and then spread out the release dates over a longer period to properly line up with Dominions release. I mean just look at the ending of season 1, it definitely and ending but it feels much more like a midseason finale rather than a full season. Maybe it WAS the midseason finale. And season 3 was originally season 2. With 4 and 5 being the original season 3 all put together. That may explain the fact that the seasons number of episodes dont match up entirely.

AnimeOtakuDrew: A bit of a shame that it seems to be so long. I had really hoped they would stick with the four month release cycle so we'd get season four in September, season five in January, and a season six in April as the conclusion. I really feel like the show needs to be six seasons as, with Dominion, the Jurassic franchise is now at six films, so that just feels really fitting to me. And, of course, the entirety of Camp Cretaceous needs to be out before Dominion hits theaters next June, so the four month cycle seemed like the only way that might happen.

Sanat Prasad: At first I just thought the timing would be better for Dominion, but hearing that it might have ended at 3, I also realised it probably also just needs that much time to make. Animation (even 3d animation) is a lot more time consuming than most people realise, and now they would even have make all new environments for season 4 since they are presumably going to Sorna
