Even Smurf knew J has potential, but he's still a kid. Remember when she said, "You're smarter than your uncles, aren't you, J? You're gonna have to be when the time comes." She literally manipulated J into killing her and giving him a false sense of power because he needs it, he's been through hell for such a young man, but Smurf wouldn't trust any of those boys with the wealth that makes up the Codys. That's why she left it to Pamela. In the flashbacks, I'd like to see when Julia started using smack, and that Angela was the one to introduce it to her.

Jackie McCarter: Did anyone notice that the Will was supposedly drawn up 4 weeks prior to her death, WHY WAS AN ENVELOPE W HER DEAD DAUGHTERS NAME ON IT??

Dick Riggles: Ladies and gentlemen, I think we can finally record Season 5 Episode 4 as the moment Animal Kingdom finally jumped the shark. Maybe this would have worked if it was done better, but now I'm questioning the motives, especially in light of recent events. There should be no replacement Smurf. I'm sorry. It seems the whole thing with handing everything over to Pamela was just a silly plot device. Disappointing.

Matthew Peter: Season 5 is good so far. Really can't understand the whining and complaints on imdb on season 5. Smurf is dead and now everyone is trying to get there bearings. Pope is really messed up after seeing him mom shot in the head and where seeing how it's affecting him. Darren now has to relive Adrian with this agent now basically watching him. Smurf was the organizer now she gone so things are a just at a loss right. The show is really displaying the drama everyone's going through trying to figure it out without mama smurf around. Not to mention there about to lose everything with Pamela as the sole person of what smurf left behind. So of course things are a bit unclear and upside down right now but I have a feeling something big is coming. The flashbacks are great showing us exactly who Pamela is to smurf and possibly why she left everything to her. J is pretty much on everyone's bad side right now and Craig is just dam great with those scooters🤣🤣🤣.

astro boy: Aunt Birdy, is smart! Smurf knew when it came to jobs, she could always be counted on to assess the danger. Having the boys go through her she would keep the boys safe, and from going broke! It's like Smurf made her , take custody of her boys , so to speak, but they don't know it yet! Smurf said "You won't make it without me". This was her loving them, they don't see it that way though. Aunt Birdy always looked out for the twins, I wonder if Andrew will remember her .

JoshVision: This is exactly why Smurf chose J as her True Heir. Craig isn’t a leader, neither is pope that’s why Baz was always in charge. Deran comes off as a spoiled, over emotional, hotheaded, reckless wannabe. Two times this episode he tried to use intimidation once on Pam and The Trujillo and they both punked him. I can’t wait for J to whip his ass he’s been had this coming season 1 lmfaooo

jovicrazed: I hope that the writers are not going with Pam becoming the new Smurf.

Amanda Dixy: Smurf had a point. She earned it. Her pups are not going to get everything for free. So Pam is kind of challenging them to take it from her if they are so good at what they do. They need strategy to steal it. There will be a lot of brain game in it. Oh they need J in that case. Seriously this show is getting better without Smurf.

Aaron Brutus: This is the only way Janine could save her boys. J is too young. They would never follow him. And like she said when she was in prison, her boys never missed a meal. Jay owns more than them and they've been in the business longer. They can't lead either.

Joseph LeRoy: The brothers need to be careful about cutting Jay out and trying to take things from him. You would think they would realize he is smarter and more ruthless than them.

TwitchtvTrigun52: Pam needs to be very careful in how she handles this new power because it can go either way (her being killed or her becoming the new smurf). Unless she has her own muscle she is not going to be able to bully the family like she thinks she will be able to. She's got a strong poker face but that can only last so long, she better be willing to compromise and work with the boys or it will go bad..I hope they introduce her son and daughter.
