Hung Tran: If Ginny ever gets sea sick again, just give her a bottle of whiskey. The sea sickness should be gone after drinking the whole bottle of whiskey and she should be able to walk on water too.

Monica Eaton: Meclizine (brand name Bonine) is the best thing we have found to help guests with motion sickness. Most report no side effects at all. Scopolamine patch also works but blurred vision, tiredness, dry mouth can occur. Everyone is different but Meclizine is OTC so it’s worth a try.

DENNIS MILLER: Bobby, as a pilot you might appreciate this. My first flight was on a navy plane called a flying boxcar. Basically it was a troop carrier with two windows in the back. We were headed from Chicago to Yuma, AZ, which was a long flight. A lot were concerned about air sickness. The crew chief hung a clothes back from a hook in the ceiling up front. He said air sickness was because you lose your horizon....so look at the clothing bag. It worked, despite some turbulence and no one got sick. Fast forward many years when I had a 36' Wellcraft and was going from Fort Myers to Marathon, FL. Seas were bumpy and my wife was getting uncomfortable. I decided to put her at the helm so she had to concentrate on the compass and holding course. It was amazing, no more queasy stomach. When we got offshore, I would put her at the helm and it seemed to work just fine. Just the experience of an old man.... Best regards, Dennis Miller Anthem,AZ

I'm not sure if this would work, but I wonder if instead of tasting the water, could you use salt test strips like the ones we use to determine the salt level in our pool? Ken D Plumber: Bilge pumps - all should be redundant (independent of each other) with seperate breakers. Probably a good idea to replace them. I use a battery operated engraver to write the date on them. And note them in the maintenance journal. Cheers, great job

GeorgeandDad Decker: Bobby, replace all of the bilge pumps! One to two seasons max life for those. Cheap insurance. That particular forward pump is popping the breaker because it is on its way out. The saltwater getting I, you need to confirm the source ASAP or you could potentially sink the dark side. C'mon Bobby you are pretty technically proficient. This is no brainer stuff for you.

Thorfinn986_doesn't_do_average: Apparently, looking to the horizon is meant to take your mind off the nausea,Ginger also helps reduce the acids,but I find burnt toast is best,the Charcoal works instantly stabilising the acids.

marty: Get your cheap $47 DC clamp on amp meter and measure the current going thru your pump circuit . If it's what your motor is rated at but it still trips the breaker (bad or weak breaker). Or it probably is a resistive feed(wire). Jumping it with another source was good. Read the amp pull on that wire. Voltage drop will get you every time.

Serd Radion: There may be some worn out plastic or rubber part in those emergency water pumps in the lower deck, that is initiating over amps and circuit breakers to pop. In starting phase of their work maybe they just got stuck. Just like in that engine water pump.
