supremeobliterator: OK folks I'm going to do some math and pleas enlighten me if my math does not add up. Mr. Miyagi was a WWII vet, and decorated war hero. Most people join the military in their teens or twenties but in WWII we made some acceptations but I will assume Mr. Miyagi was at least in his mid 20s when he won the medal of honor. The war ended in 1945, The Karate Kid part one is almost 40 years later. This would make Mr. Miyagi around 65. Daniel was 16 or 17 in 1984 "I can't remember which but he was in his late teens." I know the actor who played him was in his early 20s but still the character was 16 or 17. Assuming Cobra Kai season 3 is in 2021, that would be 37 year later. At most Daniel would be 53 in season 3 and Mr. Miyagi was at least 65 in 1984 "I'm still assuming the mid 20s thing when WWII was over." So someone tell me where my math is wrong, if it is?

The XpendablezGaming: Chozen and kimiko are going to be married. That’s why in the bar scene when Daniel sees/meets kimiko, chozen is behind him. Most likely she says “shes waiting for her husband” Daniel asks “who’s the lucky guy” and chozen pops up or some pretentious writing like that.

GLASSGHOSTHUNTERS: "I am now the same age Mr. Miyagi was when he met me." Miyagi was, in the show, born in 1925. He would have been 59 years old in 1984. I know there's a time jump in season 3, so if we assume that the time jump accounts for the time between seasons and they don't use a floating timeline, that keeps the year as 2021 in season 3. The All Valley Tournament in 1984 when Johnny and Daniel fought was an under 18 division. If we assume Daniel was 17 in 1984, that puts his birth year at 1967. So Daniel, in 2021, would be 54. The only way he could be the same age as Miyagi at this point would be if the show timeline in season 3 takes place in 2026. That's doubtful, since all the kids would now be adults. If season 3 does ide a floating timeline, and the events after season 2 take place in 2019, then Daniel is 52. And if season 3 takes place in 2021, everyone would be out of high school anyway. I think as a writer, keeping years and timelines straight, once you introduce dates and years, must be a nightmare.
