Matt Henderson: It's just so great seeing everyone so happy.Написать
galatician: Luke Skywalker rescued Star Wars!!! This is the Way!!! Thankyou Filoni & Favreau!!!!
Aliosha Pugachev: I’m not much of a “Cara Dune” and the sniper woman fan! I found it really annoying the way they shot down endless amounts of Stormtroopers without getting a single scratch themselves.
NorthStarES: I think the Book of Boba will actually be a telling of the history from after the death of his dad to him becoming the badass bounty hunter and surviving the Saarlac pit. What we saw for the teaser will actually be the ending of the book.
Tim Gross: If The Book of Boba takes over Mando then I am done. I might watch an episode or two but if it isn’t good I am not watching it.
Timothy Walter Fletcher: Do you think you could talk about who is in possession of Mandalore at this stage? Bo Katan wants this cruiser to fight with, but with the New Republic in control of most the galaxy, this seems vague. I assume it’s the Empire, but the galactic location seems like maybe the NR would have encompassed it already? Thanks!
Aliosha Pugachev: I just loved the Mandalorian! The very little number of people who liked the Sequels are now probably realising how fu**ing stupid they are.
tkoshy: 6:40 - this right here. I am glad that the series has acknowledged her character-flaws: At the end of the day Bo-Katan is still a disciple of Visla's ideology and she still pursues a hyper-idealized, yet insidiously hypocritical, version of mandalorian culture.
ViolentScorl: First off: I generally really enjoy „the Mandalorian“ and honestly believe its the only good thing to comw out of Star Wars since the Clone Wars. The fight scenes are well-choreographed, and seeing someone ELSE than a Jedi traverse the Galaxy was really refreshing and something I‘ve been waiting for since forever! The thing here is just that I can‘t ever forget what all of this _could_ have been like had they not erased legends. Had they focused on the TRUE Mandalorians like Jaster Mereel, Walon Vau, Skirata or Jango Fett. Now, we get something very good, near perfect, I just wish we had both gottwn it sooner and with another focus. Seeing the real Mandalorian beliefs, the Resol‘nare be forgotten and replaced by some goddamn trinket aka the darksaber is just sad.
Michael Yust: I kinda wish they would have let Mando/Din have the hallway scene with the darksaber and meet Luke halfway.
Kumar Dias: Spoilers: Im personally hoping for the book of Boba Fett to be its own thing. I would rather have the mando season 3 still be about Din. Would be a shame to either take a break or leave this character that was just build up so well. Then again thats just my personal preference.
Secret Weapon !: Using Mark Hamill was a poke in Rian Johnson's eye. This is the Luke we wanted. After this I think Mark can step down from the Luke role with pride.
Just Bricks: They’re looking to redeem sequel trilogy Luke with that hallway scene! I was getting those Rogue One Vader vibes!
PoopLoser69: I wanted more Boba and fewer lesbians, but it was pretty damn good regardless.
Luke Martineau: I do think they did an ok job with CGI/de-aged Luke, but if they bring Luke back I would prefer Sebastian Stan to pull us through the uncanny valley
tito chowden: It took me a minute to realize it was a CGI Luke Skywalker. I also thought it was Sebastian Stan at first, and I also agree that the CGI face didn't bother me too much.
Jay B: Yeah, it may be that the Mando and Grogu's story is finished and The Book of Boba Fett is season 3.
Kawika Ahina: I know people are going to hate me for this but, I don't like Bo-Katan anymore. She has too much potential to be an antagonist. She has already shown that all she cares about is being mandalore and I'm sure she is more than willing to betray Mando for the saber. Not to mention, she roasted Boba (do that and you are officially on my "bad guy" list)
JoeGamer333: Artoo is awesome
lowlife74: This is the Pre-Dark Empire Luke Skywalker. It's was a Fn badass in Thrawn trilogy novels and Dark Empire 1 , 2 and Empire's End Comics. For us older readers remember that shit
EBear More: I think Book of Boba Fett will be season three, but I’m completely fine with
Pelle Kuipers: I'm just happy Pedro Pascal finaly won a fight with a spear
Indyday: Technically Din doesn't own the darksabre because Gideon is still alive. So the "Trial by Combat" is sort of paused at that moment. Only if the opponent is killed during the battle there is a rightful claim to the darksabre. Easy solution -> Bo-Katan sets Gideon free and they have a fight on the bridge. If Bo-Katan wins, everyting is fine. If Gideon wins, Din kills him and becomes the leader of Mandalore.
Andrew: Star Wars/wrestling fans: "Yeah, Luke was pretty great but the highlight of the episode was Sasha Banks hitting that DDT on Boba Fett"
DoctorX17: 11/10 loved it I _screamed_ when Luke pulled down his hood -- I did NOT expect the pure ROTJ look. While it wasn't _perfect,_ I think they did a damn fine job. I was expecting another actor if Luke was the one to show up. Certainly a lot better than the de-aging of Leia... I'm glad they figured it out and didn't have to hide him in shadows. The Dark Troopers were indeed terrifying, and I think they were used really well. And Moff Gideon is one of my favorite characters to hate -- he's just so well portrayed as a horrible, low-down scoundrel. Giancarlo Esposito makes for a great bad guy! The _one_ thing I'm not so sure about is Bo-Katan not accepting the Darksaber. In Rebels, Sabine had won the Darksaber from Gar Saxon in a duel, and later gave it to Bo-Katan -- Din Djarin won it by defeating Moff Gideon, so why wouldn't she accept this time?
Jim Jam: Rogue One was true Stars Wars as well.
Garmr89: The second phase of The Mandalorian is probably going to focus on retaking Mandalore and over the right to rule it. Probably will have Din and Bo coming to blows at some point, I ultimately see Din becoming ruler though based on what I know of Mandalorian lore in legends which the show writers have shown they aren't afraid to draw from.
Vladimir Ussachevsky: I liked how the main team was organically women, it didn’t seem forced or political it was just a bunch of bad asses!
Joseph Small: Perhaps the dark troopers are made of a nearly-pure beskar alloy but not pure beskar? That would explain why they were resistant to light weaponry like Mando's blaster pistol but not to a lightsaber.
Sir N3cr0: Lmao man lucky Boba was in slave one. That meeting with Luke would've been awkward.
SpongyAU: So does that mean baby yoda will inevitably end up dead because of sequel trilogy?
the Dabbing Panda: Gideon: _surprise attacks Mando_ Mando: you should’ve aimed for the legs..
Madtown Animal House: I really believe the book of Boba Fett is going to be a book but they made it all fancy because they had the actor right there so why not advertise it in the best possible way
p51mustang s: So, the thing that has been bothering is if Din is mandalore now that he has the Dark Saber?
Max Pants: WHY ARE RHEY USING CGI AND NOT DEEPFAKES IT LOOKS SO TRASAASHSBDBXBE FHRBFBEND
Madtown Animal House: Honestly this is the first time in star wars where I felt that it was actually a diverse group of actors and actresses.
John Galt: Jon favreau showing how you do Luke Skywalker correctly. Mark Hamill must have loved seeing Luke and not Jake Skywalker.
S Rod: The female empowerment BS is trash
Shadow Ling: Yes
jonljacobi: Am I the only one who thinks digital Luke was a bit creepy?
Winged Paragon: Mark Hamill DESERVED this moment. Those unhappy, just imagine how unhappy he was playing Luke in the sequels.
ewok40k: so many good scenes: -Mando getting abused by single Dark Trooper -Dark Troopers getting Among Us treatment -Gideon versus Mando duel -Dark Troopers getting back!!! I did not see this coming... this was a masterful done plot twist -Gideon trying to force a duel -Return of the Luke! and best of all, Boba Fett and Fennec Shand getting succession on Jabba's throne...
Marc Ouellette: It was a wonderful episode, and honored Juke as he should have been honored.
Detective Squirrel: Luke was more mocap as in the credits it does mention "Jedi Stand-in".
bowser515: CGI people are a big no no. I'm not sure why Disney insist on doing it. It looks so fake still. Regardless, I still enjoyed season 2 a lot.
Matthew Kazaniwskyj: I wished Ezra was the jedi that came to train baby yoda.
Lance Howell Lagunay: The Dark Troopers were the Knights of Ren done right
Ben Pats: Does this mean that baby yoda is dead in the sequel trilogy? As Luke’s students were all killed, do you think Grogu survived?
Warren Gouldthorpe: One thing I've noticed is that if bo katan can't take the dark saber from the mando without beating him in single combat then how come bo katan took the dark saber from sabine wren in season 4 of rebels with beating her in single combat
Al Bal: Better than the sequel trilogy that never happened... that's for sure
Lil Ghxst: One thing I didn’t like was the BoKatan incident with the dark saber acts like a fucking terrorist just like clone wars then she’s like hold up hold up hold up! I don’t want it I have to fight you like come on you pussy just take it
xKinjax: While i really loved the Luke cameo and the fight with the Dark Troopers i have to say the facial CGI was pretty awful. Considering we can see better deepfakes out there for memes and porn i feel like there's just no excuse for the bad quality.
Bob W: Personally I think they should have left out any references to skywalker. Especially after they destroyed the franchise with that trilogy garbage. Ruined the mandolorian for me. Now we know the child is more than likely killed when Han Solo’s boy killed Luke’s students in that horse crap trilogy.
Doctor Brown: Meh, it was a cool little episode but probably my least favorite of the season.. Great season tho.
Tony Randall: Djin becoming Mandalore is actually a nice twist for season 3..
TheTruthIsGonnaHurt: *Luke Skywalker Appears..* Not sure who was Fan Girling more... Bo Katan or Cara Dune. Bo Katan: The last Human Male Jedi Bo Katan met was a handsome Jedi by the name of Obiwan Kenobi who was in love with her sister. Cara Dune: The Rebel Hero she only heard rumors and whispers about during her time in the Rebellion. The Hero that destroyed the Death Star which destroyed her world.
Chris Turner: Can't Mando just give the dark saber to someone else and then have Bo-Katan fight them instead?
Stephen Turner: It wasn't fun story writing, it was lazy sorry writing. Now I want to know does Ben kill Grogu when he asks the temple?
R2-D2: Boba would have clashed with Luke if he was present.
Zulu Bunsen: I don't think Luke was de-aged. IMDb lists some guy (Max Lloyd-Jones) as "Double for Jedi", I think younger Hamill's face was CG'd on him (similar to Tarkin and Leia in Rogue One). If they would have used de-aging, it wouldn't have been as Uncanny Valley as much as it was.
Dan Thomas: Anyone else hear the dub step Imperial March as the Dark Troopers powered up?
peskyseagull: Probably a couple too many cameos
Shadow Wulf Gaming: This is the real Episode 7
Dan Thomas: Gideon, "I've got an army of Dark Troopers" Din, "We've got a Luke"
Eragon Bromsson: I love Bo-Katan but she had two chances to rule and she failed both times. I think it's time for her to step aside and allow a new Mandalore to take the throne.
daniel ben shoham: I thint thet we saw enough of luke, and it will be better to explore other parts of this massive galaxy. For example, if kal kastis (I probably wrote thet wrong) would have showed up, it was a good starting point for the swcond game (fallen order 2). And he just slaughterered the dark trooper like they are storm troopers. Thet is too over powered.
Brian Waskow: Mando and crew didn't need to be part of the mission. Luke found Grogo all on his own.
Jimmy Cheshire: I loved this episode so much! Seeing the assault team storm the star destroyer and Luke do his hallway fight were my favorite parts. CG Hamill and the darksaber fight felt poorly executed for me though. I would personally be fine with a Sebastian Stan-led Luke show instead of Falcon & Winter Soldier one 😜
altec003: I actually wouldn't be upset if they made The Book of Boba Fett just The Mandalorian season 3. They could use it as a time jump for season 4. After all, Boba Fett is the Mandalorian of his story.
What? The?: Every female character except Gina is shit
David Williams: Please, true Star Wars fans, THANK Filoni and Favreau. We've waited 40 years for this moment. We endured the destruction and shaming of Luke in TLJ, knowing, above all, that Luke is a TRUE hero, a man of virtue and kindness and faith. Luke does NOT give up or give in. In spite of all, even Yoda and Kenobi telling him it was impossible, Luke overcame the Emperor to bring Anakin back. Luke IS the Light side of the Force; in spite of his power. The Mandalorian understands this. The danger was corruption, temptation from power. Luke has overcome this. He can use Force powers most are not able to resist because he is PURE. We can quibble all we want, but this was beautiful and fitting. I'm still in shock. THANK YOU! And, to me, Din IS the embodiment of the Mandalorian ethos. He is young and naive in his journey, but he is a man of honor, a true warrior. He should not be shamed or "replaced" with Fett as many say [I love Fett returning to his roots in the extra-credits scene]. Mando is a special character and I appreciate the show and what he brings just as much as the redemption of Luke. I'm so f*cking happy.
Darth Vader: See? How this all female lead was not forced? This just worked. Not like the one in Endgame
Mike Litoris: Rumor is Grogu recognized R2-D2 from the jedi temple
Trippy Ulyanov: if Din Djarin and Bo Katarn do have to fight for the Darksaber it will *NOT* be a plot hole but rather a subversion of franchise's long running bias for chaos and progress over order and tradition of course i fully expect that Filoni and Favreau will find some way to get their cake and eat it too
Epic Adrian 3D: It's such a privilege to see Star Wars in this new, refined, form. Old characters with new stories using new filmaking technology. That's why I love Rouge One so much.
K D: Luke just played with these darktroopers
J M: It was a real actor with some CGI and probably prosthetics with Mark Hamills voice
Epic Adrian 3D: What was really cool is that I didn't even notice that the whole crew was women. That's good storytelling. Not heavy handed, not preachy, just a normal part of the universe.
macnof: They truly did the female roles right in this episode, my wife and I only realised that there were almost only women in the boarding party when they were in the elevator. It didn't feel forced or diverse for diversitys sake, it just felt natural.
BLS-X: Rogue One and The Mandalorian. These are the Best Star Wars. I have spoken.
Shaun Croucher: What an episode it was incredible just so good all around, my only gripe was the choreography for Luke was pretty disappointing if i'm honest, a lot of the same moves over and over and no real link to his fighting style in 5/6 its a shame because all the other parts have been done really well, I just think they need to hire someone that worked on the prequels or something, don't get me wrong it was good and certainly was bad ass, it just could have been better, I do a bit of Escrima and Doce Paris and these things really stand out for me and its weird because the Moff Gideon fight was actually pretty good, a bit clunky in some places but all around fairly decent choreography I just wanted to see more of the classic Luke pose with most of the weight on the front leg but mixed with the flashiness off the prequels, there are a lot of saber tricks that could have been utilized here and all the actor seems to do is move it behind his head to an downward strike and this is done like 3 or 4 times, just a shame I really feel this could be greatly improved. Still was epic to see Luke back in action and his use of the force was pretty sweet as well. Dun be mad just some constructive criticism.
Hector Cornejo: I have to admit that when they did the whole episode with Grogu meditating before he was grabbed by the dark troopers, I figured either Luke would show up, or Ahsoka would show up again to break him out. I honestly couldnt remember any other jedi living so when Eck brought up Ezra I was a little embarrassed I forgot about him. Main reason I figured Ahsoka would have returned for him was because I didnt think anyone else would be able to get a real introduction for non-hardcore fanbase watchers that would satisfy them in the time allotted. I kinda figured that she would return again and say something to the degree of that she had felt the beacon go off and didnt see a response so she came. I honestly think Luke was a better choice by far for the scene, but I was not sure if the writers would reach that far. Luke was perfect because the ship/the outfit, and his green lightsaber basically gave it away without having to go deep into a ten minute introduction of any other jedi that a casual fanbase would not immediately know. The scene itself did the job before him even revealing himself and lowering his cowl.
Emperor Palpatine: I actually think the prison ship was one of the best. Contained and simple. Also think we don’t need a season 3. That was the perfect place to stop.
Alex Williams: still kinda wish it would've been mace windu honestly. probably dead for sure now
GBuster: Just watching all the reaction videos and seeing everyone pretty much reacting all the same lol.
Grant . Richardson: It amazes me how much this has unified SW fans expecially after the sequel trilogy. This was simply incredible, nothing felt like it was forced in just to please fans, it all flowed so well. Watching master Luke was incredible.
Adam Coggins: I'm still curious why the Lambda shuttle wasn't returning fire at all, I mean, they have a rear turret over their engines, you could just say "maybe it was taken out" but surely it would have been better TV to see it shooting back and see it get taken out by Boba?
Yearlonggiant: Great season of the Mandalorian loved every episode, even the weaker one which was The Passenger in my opinion. But it’s like Avatar animated series where even the bad episodes are still pretty good, and I love how much season 2 expanded on the universe compared to season 1 which in my opinion was more confined on a smaller scale. I also love how they used Luke Skywalker in in this episode, saving him for the last few minutes by adding some tension up until we see a single X-Wing... and I was extremely ecstatic during Luke’s hallway sequence, and establishes just how committed Luke is to finding the child Grogu. And Gideon’s expressions during the slow reveal of the Jedi was extremely satisfying, finally seeing him be rendered powerless to the point where he makes a foolhardy attempt to kill the child and then himself. I’m looking forward to what Season 3 will bring now that the child is no longer part of the show, for now.
William Legate: #askech why do you think Bo Katan needs an army, to retake Mandelore? It’s 5 years after ROTJ. If there was an imperial presence, the new republic would of stepped in so, what organization is holding Mandelore after the purge and, after the empire?!?!?
Distortion: Bib Fortuna became BIG Fortuna
Mr Dunk: I totally forgot that the dark saber can only be taken after its wielder is defeated in combat and with that Gideon fighting Mando (probably not expecting to win) made so much sense, he was trying to force an infight and almost succeeded, pretty smart.
Vaz Monsey: Eck be like luke skywalker pog
John Byron: I feel that all Star Wars fans should boycott Disney until they apologize to Gina Carano for demanding she make any sort of apology...
Pills _: Wait. SPOILERS ahead So, who did Gideon gun down right before he tried to kill Grogu and the Mando jumped in his way? Was that Bo? Is she still alive? I can't keep track of the blue-suited mandalorians, their armor all looks the same...
Last Son: The sequels need to be erased from canon man.
Benjimikey: Moff Gideon attempting suicide is that a sign that he fears his master so much that he'd rather die than be captured which would be seen as a failure. The Mandalorian has been the best star wars comeback since Rogue one in my opinion ( The sequels just didn't to it for me in terms of characters and storey, sorry to say that)
Elevator829: This goes to show that if you put star wars in the hands of FANS it does amazing. Give it to people who don't know star wars and you get the sequel trilogy..
Zoe Simza: I loved absolutely everything about the season finale but honestly, I think my favorite aspect is just how hard Bo'Katan got punked. She looked like an idiot trying to challenge Boba Fett, then she turned into a hypocrite with the whole "lol Din is a religious fanatic obsessed with rituals and traditions" before pivoting to being just as much of a zealot herself, she insisted the Darksaber must be won in combat despite having not won it in combat the first time she possessed it, and finally she got made a fool of by ultimately failing to reclaim the Darksaber despite that being her main objective. Nice try, Bo'Katan, but you ain't shit.
Jay Kesner: Dark troopers more like dub troopers their music was 🔥
Adam Cox: I want to see a fight between bo and the armourer
