He already knew that all those ppl had to die, to carry out his plan. Also there was this scene in manga when the scouts were in marlay and eren took all of them to a little settlement of the ppl he helped earlier. He saw the kids there and cried. Matthew Bowman: Man this CGI is actually hitting me too hard. It is actually throwing my enjoyment down the drain. I am actually normally fine with CGI because I loved AJIN but this CGI is... Just poor. I wish we could have waited longer and got a more finished product. Kind of just gives me Cyberpunk vibes with how it isn't complete and suffers heavily from it. it isn't just the CGI either though. Even the sound design is lacking. Silence was used very sparingly and when it had the most impact before but now it is just... Everywhere in this episode for not reason it feels.

Ad SJB: Can I point out, the War Hammer titan is the FASTEST titan shifter to *lose* a fight in the entire series so far? It might not seem like it when you're watching it, but if think how fast the events actually played out, it was probably like a 50 second fight, right? Fight has begun the moment Warhammer had started to generate, Eren, ATTACKS WHILE IT'S GENERATING STILL. Then, Beats the shit out of it for like, what? 20 seconds straight? It counter-attacks, he breaks free, he jumps out, regenerates and boom, GRAB, egg of the shifter found, line snapped, gg. Eren won. If you count Eren's Respawn of his titan-shift as a new fight, then that just means they lost AT LIGHTINING SPEED. Because he Finished transforming, and 5 seconds later, ripped the cord and WARHAMMER WAS DONE. That's legit a 5 second run on the Any% WarHammer Glitchless boss fight. (Who knew the one with War and Hammer in it's name would be the quickest to be beaten in the entire series. Hilarious really.)
