I can't help to think I have heard parts of this story previously but not all of it as I am from Pennsylvania and I think bits and pieces were on the news. Finally getting to see the full story I believe he fooled alot of people because of his child like and feminine ways. I don't believe he was mentally sound from the time he was born. It really is a terrible shame he slipped thru the cracks and no one gave him the help he really needed. He wanted attention others never gave him and by doing this he was fully aware of what he did and no longer cared. Thanks for another great documentary, please stay safe.

It's bad, it's possibly one of the worst mental illness one could be cursed with. If you're reading this comment, don't be a douche and repeat that. You know what probably happened? He didn't like how his meds made him feel, so he stopped taking them. He never took them, you say? He probably didn't feel safe taking them. I knew someone with schizophrenia, and he didn't trust ANYONE. Only time he ever took his meds was when given by a family member or forced by a medical professional(sometimes they would really have to force it). Even then, he constantly looked for a way to get out of taking them. It's not a choice...they're mentally ill
