I 100% agree with the idea that Hector's Soul may have been transferred into Roswaal, Roswaal's pronunciation of the first word in the present scene almost felt like the directors were shoving that 'fact' down your throat. The idea that he may be the good guy in this story though was definitely something I hadn't considered, if that's the case though would Rosawaal still be so dedicated to Echidna (Assuming your theory is correct)? As usual character development (Especially of Beatrice) is just amazing, though even in the short time we saw her Ryuzu seemed to develop quite a bit in her own right. And speaking of the duality of man, when Rosawaal's explanation of how both he and Subaru force their ideals upon the woman they love hit harder than expected. It honestly made sense to so many of their actions, and really revealed how even though 2 people may be so similar, it's just one item that sets them along different paths. Side note: Glad to see the Greed IF is back up, I'll give it a watch if the next episode of Re:Zero doesn't break me.

•_• R. •_•: It may have been possible that Echidna let Ryuzu sacrifice herself knowing it would lead her down a timeline where she gets to meet Subaru or a timeline where Subaru is more likely to survive thanks to the clones. If Ryuzu didn’t sacrifice herself, Beatrice would not have been so alone and willing to help Subaru near the beginning of the series, thus the events of Re:Zero would have been different, potentially leading to a route where Echidna never gets to meet Subaru. In other words, I’m assuming Echidna could see or at least predict the future and the right outcomes needed to be a part of the desired timeline.
