Bobbie Morreale: Shadow moon maybe Wensdays son but his mother is Yemoja. The moon is both shadow and light. When things are revealed to Shadow its the Orishas that show him.

N K: When Wednesday is stabbed with the spear he is between the signs Virgo and Libra... Virgo can be connected to Demeter and Libra is the sign of justice aka Tire

Tarek Knanneh: Ganesha slides the coin down it's face which literally/ graphically shows him "The trunk" not the coin sliding under the wheel

Mike Wein: i wonder if Techboy will play a cliffhanger role? Seems to narratively make sense if he is truly an old god....perhaps with Greek/Roman origins who helped deliver tech artifact #1 to humankind?

Bmc138: Episode 7?! Really?!

Kaydee 216: I don't like it! It bothers me 😢

curtjames: I was just waiting for Odin to catch the spear. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Lesa Swartwood bluemoonbargins: Somebody said this was the first time Cordelia said she liked girls but it isn't, when Shadow & her were talking in the alley during the Memorial for the evening star she said " I'm on the all girls team" to shadow when he asked her if she was after Odin and had daddy issues.

Lolli Jade: Didn’t anyone else notice the stunt guy behind Laura during Wednesday’s death scene? 😂😂

tamisha binion: Would was the person that grabbed Laura when she killed Wednesday?

Immanuel White Delaney: What about the big ass shine of light after shadow feels Odin die that HAS to mean something

Hardy Truth seeker: So disappointed almost seems like the show died before Wednesday did. loved it for the first 2 seasons not so much the third 😕

Alexander Great: .. Makes no sense in her behaviour..her script is not good.. Wish she gets a better writing..she is not making sense.in the show..

Empress KIYA: Billiqus and Tek Boy will probably play apart with shadow destiny

Nicholas Foster: We need anansi

jeffrey crain: The book is 20 years old

Will Buk'em: why did Zorya Vechernyaya die from getting shot but this god didn't?

Adam Carter: Will shadow get the Odin Force?

Steven Sroba: 2nd breakdown video I have seen with no mention of who is behind Laura wearing the sunglasses when he threw the spear (credit to someone else below for pointing this out first). The face was even in the clip of the other video! Does not look like the Jinn nor Mr World. Didn't see this in another breakdown video either.

Lowkey T: Great review and episode.

Daniel Nugent: Somebody please tell me the song playing during the bathroom scene.

milo: Laura just triggered the union of old gods.

milo: How come noone is talking about that one dude with goggles standing there when laura and doyle were dodging czernobog.

Keyronday: This is ALL REAL LIVE 🐂💩.... THIS MEANS BULLSHIT.........

Kelvin Brank: This show stay closer to the book lara is annoying af

aleksander popov: you suck you don't pay attention

Zalán Szalmási: Finally a good episode in this season .

James Robinson: Did anyone notice Odin called Cordelia Friday?

Oj Yes that one: Can’t believe he’s gone he was the best thing about the show in my opinion 😕

Raymond: Who is the figure behind Laura after she threw the spear? :o

Lesa Swartwood bluemoonbargins: Who was standing behind Laura with sunglasses on? It wasn't Doyle, he had already bounced to the opposite side after pushing her to the ground, I saw the person twice. (Edit, THREE TIMES!)

craig T: The Norns and the Moirai are one and the same Urd(Norse)Atropos(Greek) Verdandi(Norse)Clotho(Greek) Skuld(Norse)Lachesis(Greek) They are another intermingling of the pantheons much like GAIA(Greek) is the one true Mother Earth goddess with different guises to the pantheons like Jord(Norse) and Aye(Orisha)

EL_DREW2D2 666: Never read the books so idk

EL_DREW2D2 666: Mr.world is Loki and war is no longer an option

jAY STORMZ: Next season needs to do better and cut the pc culture and sjw culture out this was not it chief

Andrew Sanderson: Wednesday day is it always going to be there are season two certain things God's cannot come back from he was talking about Thor essentially killing himself when the runes charged up I still think we're through surprised in the finale Wednesday was played brilliantly by Ian McShane from season 1 he had you literally on the edge of your toes shadow looks like he's about to be B&B come Wednesday they will been saying you don't know what he's got in store for you they changed from the book so anything can happen as Laura's character isn't really in the book

Andrew Sanderson: get your man in line Odin's plan was always for this to happen episode 1 season 1 we see you Wednesday talking to an older guy and I think it's an older version during The Sweeney saying I killed Wednesday season 2 definitely the best program on television so much was gutted when Odin was hit so hats off to production team it's a gym the show shame not a lot of people are aware of it

Andrew Sanderson: So part of the plan all of it rigged games are the easiest to win also with the spear it kind of obeys Odin I still think shadowmoon didn't mean to kill Sweeney he says so it's definitely going to be in chanted the swing Odin Spear

kalle roseworld: if we dont get a war in the last episode i'm gonna be pissed. i was expecting more this season ..

Brian Hedrick: Good episode so anyone else think Cordelia is Shadows sister????

the Anomaly: Cordelia always said she was into girls .. guess you missed the episode when she first met shadow

Lorne Malvo: You missed something, during the battle between Laura and Czernobog, there was someone else behind Laura !

Adiuvat: I actually liked this episode. I am curious to see how they are going to connect all of these revelations. In the book, most of them happen towards the very end. The cinematography was brilliant especially the Gungnir scene.

David Cripps: Apart from the fact that this show only works because of McShane, I don't think he's dead. He's probably passed his essence into the spear...unless there's no plan for a 4th season

Queenlife Kate: Sooo, I noticed some stuff. Wednesday said he will sleep when he is dead so I figured he knew he was going to die or be killed. Idk why but I feel like Laura moon might be special because she said she prayed to God that she might be special. Something sounds weird. Maybe I'm over thinking it. But No One noticed the guy with the black shades on grab Laura Moon quick while she was throwing the coin at Ian...... Come on. And shadow definitely will be getting his father's power of something because that light was bright. Also Wednesday didn't step on Ursa major but noticed how he died in the middle of the zodiac symbol?!

xuxon24: This season has given me a lot of mixed reactions, good episodes like this one and 7 like you mentioned but also a ton of filler. A lot of episodes focused on secondary characters or one and done characters that just end up wasting time

Michaela Collins: Honestly I don’t respect how this show is changing things up in the book 🤦🏽‍♀️

MagiiCde416: look at his body language when the spear is coming to him - he kind of smiles and opens his arms welcoming the blow - this is planned

Zynn Findo: What song is Sandy Olsen singing on the boombox right before Shadow figured out there are a lot more missing children?

Kevin Bradshaw: After the 2 ravens land outside Shadow’s window, the dawn emerges behind him signifying a new dawn or reign that is Shadows after his father passing. Also it will be interesting how the new gods will interact with Shadow now that Laura has fulfilled her end of the bargain and will now be granted security and safe passage for her, Shadow, and the Salim. It’s as if Wednesday anticipated that scenario and it gives the old gods the advantage.

Mystic Mind: Cordelia already revealed she's into girls in episode 2 of s3 (right after Shadow leaves the wake of Zorya). Love these video's though =) I always learn a lot ^^

moli1623: It was epic!!! very sad about Wednesday tho :(

Don Juan Leßrón: Let's take this into consideration!..... Into real LIFE as we LIVE!...

Samara1221: Cordelia first revealed to Shadow at the wake for Zoraya by the cars that she's part of the Girls Only club. The Shard app in the car scene wasn't the first reveal.

Tabris Morissette: I wonder if this is not part of Mr.Wednesday plan ... I remember him saying to his spear when he was restoring its power: " every soul she takes is a tribute to me ...", so he has been sacrifed himself to himself ... the major ofrenda ... maybe he doesn't comes back ... but I am preety sure he has not allowed being murdered with his own spear for nothing ... besides he has been murdered before ... Mad Sweeney had in his memories a moment in which he was holding Mr. Wednesday head when he was still the God King Sun and defeated Mr. Wednesday invaders PD1 : eight previous episodes for finally going ahead in the trama ... they could have advance too much more in 8 episodes ... well, I enjoyed this episode ... PD2: Laura will go direct to hell since having a new life she has only looked for vendetta and murdered some one ..., she blames Mr. Wednesday for ruining her life, but to be honest she had already ruined her life by herself too much time ago, I remember she used to try to comit suicide and she died while she was being unfaithfull to Shadow... in fact Mr. Wednesday actions have given her a new life and a new opportunitty ... and what she does? murdering him ...

MsArrington: I almost cried.

Ravind Lekh: Shadows t shirt in his dream/drowning sequence had a logo, half sun half moon

NightPigeon: the sizzling sound of hinzelman's blood reminds me of the time as kids when we would burn plastic and it would droop on the ground making the same nosie

Douglas Uzelac: You can not end it like this with the most unlikable character "winning". Awful...just Awful.

Anita Bonghit: This video does not mention that Shadow inherits his father's powers now that Huginn and Muninn are with him.

Anita Bonghit: I have to correct StoryDive on one matter. He mentioned that Hinzelmann was Hodekin but both names were mythological Kobolds. The Hinzelmann character actually represents the Hinzelmann Kobold.

ant mcg: Hey u forgot one thing when Odins ravens came to Shadow and then the light behind him

Dev Hobbs: Not going to lie, when Czernobog was crying out for zorya I teared up thinking about Cloris since she passed 😢

Uouttooo: During the entire time a hammer being swung at Laura, Liam saving her, him catching the coin from Laura and then got hit himself and vanished, Wednesday did not move a single muscle. He could have stepped aside at least.

Charles Barnes: Odin was preparing his son to take over. And with his death he would take his powers with a young ready for battle new body..

Todd B.: The tagline for this show should be, "A slow, slow, SLOOOW burn."

Theodor Düsterberg: I come from Germany and the surname Hinzelmann reminded me strongly of the legend of Hinzelmann but the behavior reminded me more of a Hödeken (Hodekin in English ;D) However, we also have the Heinzelmännchen which are relatively harmless. :P For those who want to read up: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hinzelmann https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/H%C3%B6dekin https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heinzelm%C3%A4nnchen

Colin Mathura-Jeffree: love

Fosterpython: The caduceus was the symbol of Hermes/Mercury, who the Romans associated with Odin. A coin with an elephant on one side and a caduceus on the other could simply mean "this is a gift/message from Ganesha to the son of Odin". Also, how come bullets can't kill Hinzelmann if Zorya and a bunch of other gods in that diner died from being shot in season 2? Is it because Hinzelmann was in her home turf (her town) or were the new gods using special bullets at the diner? Anyway, great video as always man.

Angharad Lipscombe: whilst I'm not convinced Odin's death is gunna be permanent it did kinda seem like he spent most of this episode playing Czernobog. Setting him up as the one who will gather the old gods. Like Odin he has all those connections but unlike Odin he hasn't pissed everyone off. Having Czernobog as second at the 'peace talk' meant he was witness to Mr World's stance and Odin's matyrdom. Odin was making sure he saw exactly what he needed to see to take up the mantel.

Caden Dias: The way the two ravens were placed on the end kind of signifies Shadow now becoming like his father, and "taking over". it was a nice touch

OG MammacitaBear: Does TV Cordillia = Book Sam?

bill walsh: It was symbolic that Laura and Liam were in a church while he taught her to kill. Sorta like getting a little revenge on the church for taking away his Godhood ;-)))

John Nelson: Yeah, who was standing behind Laura right after she killed Wednesday, and seemed to pull her back -- dude in sun glasses.

George Anderson: WTF Chernobog doing on the roof? I think his Hammer make apocalipsis, no?

the high Ninja hidden in the Trap: And I also think that the girl that got Odin's Hammer necklace is going to become the new Thor

the high Ninja hidden in the Trap: Okay you didn't talk about how at the end shadowmoon tapped into his real power as Boulder the God of Light

greg farmer: feel like the Wednesday drowning is a reach didn't see him at all lol

Addicted to YouTube comments: Is the scientology God in this show?

Michael Cuzzort: I thought it looked like shadow assuming Odins mantle or powers or something at the end ...

Ushakov Sergey: Did anybody noticed dude in glases behidn Loura on 49:20? WTF?

Weteperepe: What do you guys think is Artifact One?

beattodeath: How has no one thought to cast Glover as Joker? Mr. World with classic Joker makeup is a near perfect example of the character.

Eye Care: This is 1 of best episodes of the series. Finally some payoffs and what do u know, they were still able to move the plot

Meneer Bert: in my home region of Southern Limburg(The Netherlands) and the surrounding regions we have places called 'overberg' and 'auveleberg'. According to almost forgotten folklore, the earthmounds and hills are home to the Auvermanneke, Alvermanneke(duminitive form for alver/auverman). They are culminations of elfs, dwarfs, gnomes, earthman, fairies and such. Alv or alf being 'elf'. In some stories indeed they provide prosperity. They would sneak into people's houses and finish their unfinished works. However, if they got spied on, they would 'take the light out of the onlookers' eyes. https://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alvermanneke

Cholofelo Malunga: i just want Mr Wednesday back, this episode hit me hard, this was more painful than the death of Ned Stark, and I suppose Laura reuniting with Shadow is over now.

Yada Yah: Perhaps Tech Boy tipped Odin to Laura's assassination attempt right after he escaped the face hugger thingy.

Jeremiah Kivi: All I have to say is I told you so when it came to that overly nice lady being the murderer as well as the body being in the car well before the coin scene. They need some better writers.

Sean Braley: Kalbots arnt elf like more like dark knomes they live underground and Couse earthquakes mine cave ins and explosions

Alan Kohn: I am enjoying this season but I was disappointed that what I thought was a clever misdirect wasn't. The minute the girl disappeared I went she's in the trunk of the car on the lake and As soon as we met I'm a nice little shop lady I went she's upto no good. Then I went nah it's gotta be a red herring, but it wasn't

Leslie Sauceman: I am sad to see Odin go I loved that character and that actor.

Damian Darkholme: At this point there is no doubt that Orlando Jones was telling the truth on why he was fired from the show. The showrunner's explanation that there was no place for Mr. Nancy on this seasons because they were covering the part of the book that didn't feature Nancy is complete bullshit. First of all, most of this season had barely anything to do with what happens in the book. Second, there were obviously many points on the season where Mr. Nancy could've fit in the narrative pretty naturally. And third, Orlando Jones said he was fired because the new showrunner didn't like Nancy's "angry gets the shit done" attitude, and seeing the odd way they retconned Bilquis, it really seems accurate.

Joanne Robertson: When Shadow was talking to Chad at Derek's house, I am pretty sure there was an outline of the thunderbird

sea of trickery: I actually enjoyed this episode wow

todd goslin: I've recently come to realize that your breakdowns of each episode are usually better than the episodes themselves.

Nikki Gills: One of the best episodes, My only question is why didn’t shadow link up with blaquit again to discover his African heritage?

ynna voig: i really hope theres is a 4th season

Link9876ful: This episode was phenomenal, the end made me freak out :D

Crimson Knight: I do not think Wednesday will remain dead unless its the actor who wants out.
