Debasis Tripathy: The producers need better scriptwriters and editors, it is time they increase the pace of the story, they are not covering enough side characters back story either, with each passing season, the quality of the storytelling is reducing and so is the viewership, even though there is a good chance that we will get season 4, sadly I believe it would be the last and to wrap up things they will keep it 10 fast-moving episodes. I haven't read the books, time to do that I guess, to understand how much of a twist has the series taken. Plus unless they were shooting season 3 n 4 together, we won't get to see it till 2023...

Larry Walker: Great job with reviews. I am a big Neil Gaiiman fan. I feel like this season wasn't good enough to even consider a 4th season. I hate the idea of Died Wife being has other half. She is horrible character that become a fan favorite because woman who plays her is an awesome actress. Laura's really useless in this season. This 3rd season was rushed and disjoined storytelling. I was watch a great show in it's death throws gasping one last breath.

nicole rogers: I think Lara being his other half makes sense they are two extreme types of people , Odin kills her for a reason not just cause he wants shadow to feel alone . It’s more to it the that . Totally loved this season

Kenneth Jameson Parker: I’ve actually loved your American Gods synopsis episodes that are full of old myths, religion, and folklore with questions, and musings more than the series I think, and I met Neil Gaiman while he was still writing the book, and provided some artwork which a portion of was woven into the story! I love the book. There have been some amazing scenes in the series, but for me the book is still better, and your synopsis series better than what I’ve seen so far. Something that I truly wish that we’d seen in the series was the Hall Of Forgotten Gods. The way Neil wrote it there were statues of things in there out of the Hellish illustrations of Wayne Barlowe, and the writings of H. P. Lovecraft! I know it’d all be CGI, and digital matte painting, but could you imagine Shadow entering that space in a vision or dream, and seeing worn, and broken statues of Cthulhu, the Old Ones, the Deep Ones, and chaotic figures resembling John Carpenter’s THE THING carved in various styles, and colors of stone? There is one short filmmaker, and artist on Youtube that I’ve come across who produced his own series on alien life, and the second episode in the series is subtitled ‘The Museum Of Alien Life,’ and based on what he’s animated in that episode he’d be perfect for conceptualizing the Hall Of Forgotten Gods. Markus Strobel: Even without reading the books (What I didn't), the hint that trickery is what Mr. Wednesday does best is a very obvious one. I mean, which god is known for trickery? Overall this season has been still quiet good, but I'm sure it could have been even better without these staff issues. Even so, I learned a lot about ancient mythology, especially because of these videos.

TortuousRobin: I’m not sure if you’ve mentioned this however, I can’t believe I’ve only just noticed a connection between ‘the shard project’ that the new gods are developing and the rock which has a shard shape. Maybe Mr World named the project after Artefact one? As he says in the episode, it’s the next advancement in human technology (manipulation)... On a side note, I loved this speech from him, as it has so much relevance in today’s time... It’s not the most difficult puzzle to solve, however I’ve overlooked it until this episode!

Shanika Harvey: Shadow’s not one of the enslaved people, he’s actually the overseer. Look at his hat and clothes compared to the people before him. As a biracial man, he is met with a choice, stand with Black people of his ancestral line, who he views as powerless or follow his White father who is known to be powerful. Shadow’s been chasing his white side the whole series. He even teams up with techno boy who hangs him from a tree in the previous season. The question that most people haven’t asked about Shadow is why he chooses only his White ancestry. Why is he so quick to ignore Odin’s evil deeds? He views white people/his white side as inherently worthy of redemption. What is America built on but racism (Shadow’s Black mother) and sexism (Shadow’s wife)? Think deeply about why this show is called American Gods.

Tonya J: Ok so it was a good end to season 3, I'm pretty sure bar any unforseen issues that there will be a season 4! ( 2 many storylines to complete!!) Now there were some things u failed 2 mention. During Biliquis's vision tech boy & another figure were alluded to 4 some reason, maybe foreshadowing of things 2 come in next season. Bcuz I've not read the book, not sure how tech boy's character arch will continue but he may possibly join forces with Shadow & become an ally at least against Mr. World!! Yes I do believe Mr. World is Loki, but what his true plans r no one knows, yet!! Finally both Biliquis & Laura's characters have had deviations 2 their storylines, for the better I think. Would like 2 see them play out!! Btw y'all should give Laura a break, she's trying 2 change, cut the woman some slack!! As a side I think Laura could be Shadows half sister/ other half of dual or twin soul, the one that died earlier in this season, the one Odin abandoned along wit her mother (could explain why she was hell bent on revenge, not just bcuz he murdered her, but she was getting back at him 4 being a terrible father, seems plausible)!! As to the ending, I see BOTH Odin & Shadow making a return in the next season! Also is the Ginn & the buffalo have a connection??, 2nd time the buffalo has shown up, there's significance there!! Ok Until next season, hope everyone enjoys the reruns!

This season should have had more episodes because it took like 80% of the season to set up for something big.
