HISTORY: Love The Curse Of Oak Island? Stay up to date on all of your favorite History Channel shows at http://history.com/schedule.

BubblePuppie: My granpa found things that look just like that down by a river where we live but in better condition, he said they are old bus tokens from 1920's.

Philippe Audet: Gary talks down to the viewer, as if we are a child. This show has gotten ridiculous. I watch it any longer.

John B: Copper cash is the general terms of Chinese ancient currency made of copper which turned up in the Qin Dynasty (221 BC–206 BC), a dynasty leaving so many legacies to the Chinese people such as the Great Wall and the Terracotta Army. People in ancient times believed that the heaven is round and the earth is square, which is one of the reasons why the copper coin has the round shape and a square hole in the center.

robert gardner: Could have been part of a child's coin collection. It is just an old Chinese coin.

Tamas Jojart: I love this show but I think some of the stuff they find are planted.

Rp Rp: 1:41 " that one bobby dazzler"? guy is talking on another level LOL

Mack - 10: The suspense is real

Edna2u: This is what happened Hey we need content for the show. Go wander around with your metal detector

Saunsiaray Broussard: Very interesting

DAIKING LIAO: It's an ancient chinese coin, the oldest chinese coins that made in this shape were about 2000 years ago, they were made of copper and have standard weight, there are words on them that show the weight or the time that they were produced.

〉〉 Unknown: Is there a red eye with connecting strings? or a crystal skull?

〉〉 Unknown: Oh so its 1million must die before the secret is revealed? haha

Yo Mama: Why don't they just use GPR.

Gary Mauer: An cient Chinese coins always had square holes in the middle.

Green MarineFive-O: When this show first began it was exciting due to the potential for success. I figured with a multimillionaire investor onboard chances of recovery were much higher than the previous efforts. But... as soon as the pattern was established of baiting viewers in during the days prior to the latest episode with implied scores turning into virtually nothing, I was done. This is my first time back in a long time and I see nothing has changed. At this point I'm convinced the entire island was a human creation and the only chance of successfully uncovering the whole story is by completely removing the island itself. Sounds like a crazy idea, but there have been manmade islands built and taken down, long before declassification made it known to the public.

J Sanch: On the next Curse of Oak Island...someone finds something that belonged to someone at sometime, somewhere.

Brooks Pearce: That ax part they found could be part of a boxing ax use to cut boxes in pine trees to collect pine sap used in making Turpentine ( related to the pine tar kiln ) ( made from the sap of live trees) Pine tar is made from the hearts of dead pine trees ( fat laddard ) found in old tree stumps etc. The stumps are placed in a metal container and heated over the fire to cook the tar out of the stumps. That might explain the nails in the soil around the fire pit. The tar was used to waterproof sails and ropes on ships , The tar was also cooked down to a thicker consistency to use to seal up cracks in ships hulls etc.

Binary Buzz: stop planting evidence. fake.

Jfoozpro: The funny thing is it could be a square nail or rivet washer for shipbuilding. I have seen them made of brass and bronze. Hoping it's a coin though...

DangerDave: It's aliens!

Charlotte Clark: jeffrey epstein

CTO Ethno: Hryd

abmong: Oak Island: We found an old chinese coin. CCP: Oak Island belongs to China since ancient times! Careful there, you might suddenly have a military airport on Oak Island and a couple of new artificial CCP Islands springing up there overnight. Or maybe 'History' is trying to attract Chinese interest and investment for the show.

Dylan Monginho: 😲 Found a whole lot of nothing again

ildefonso Chavez: Come to my house i show u the tones of gold .. but i cant get this bcuz i dont have metal detector 🥺

ROBERTO RAMOS: En español

sang tran: have a nice day ... good luck tomorrow.

sang tran: I am Vietnamese. My grandparents have passed away. Leave me guilty ... about 200 square hole coins like that. Among them are some Chinese money ... king (khang hi) ... king (Cang Long) ... king (North Song) As for my money, there's ... king of pear ... king of lake ... king (Tran) ... king of Nguyen

sang tran: Coins have square holes. During the feudal era ... China ... VietNam ... Korea ... Japan. Copper material quality is very low ... laminated ... liver ... iron ... some are cast from iron ... thin and light material ... but very easy to rust. So if you dig it up intact it's precious already. Be gentle with it ... otherwise it will fail.

sang tran: Coin you just found. Most likely Chinese currency. But it seems that coin is very difficult to recognize ... of which dynasty!

Rob Hill: That money pit goes way deeper than I thought. It looks like someone really did dig a hole to China.

Johnny Smoke: It isn't a coin it's a fungus ridden gummie.

Johnny Smoke: Hi, my name is Gary and I'm a detectoholic.

joewger: Chinese Coin

Randy Arellanes: Its obvious the coin with the square hole is ancient Chinese.

That Hillbilly: What he was looking was a crust of dirt on something. "Let's clean the dirt off!" "No way! That would expose what it is!!" About sixty years ago, they built a causeway to the island. Nothing there has any real significance. Probably thousands of people have been there every year since.

Kenneth Salyers: sorry guys I'm done won't be watching anymore it's a waste of my time on to the next show

Mark Hannam: Chinese were on oak island as well, amazing!

Wilford Lewis McGee: obviously a coin from the earth kingdom....

Jim Griffiths: Old footage. Nothing new here

Michael Broderick: Now we just got to find the coin collector who dropped it there in 1958!

Shayne Hunter: Early milk token.

Mike White: Chinese coin very little money value and of little value to the mission.

Glenn Webster: Oh great. Another season of . A COIN? IN THE MUD? ON OAK ISLAND?

Denise Rowley: Coins with cut out squares are chinese

rick bagnall: When will we get season 8 in the U.K. Please...

Uptodate Itc: Too good to be true 😏

John H: I have a similar coin

Andy LaCombe: What percentage of the show is used to repeat the names of the cast. Do we really need to hear Rick and Marty Lagina during an episode? Are we really that stupid to where we need to hear their name 10 times in an hour long show, or not just Gary Drayton, but Metal Detection Expert Gary Drayton. Why? Can't we assume that after you say this guy is Marty Lagina, we know he is Marty Lagina, or at least just say Rick and Marty? I have watched every episode and the announcing is so annoying - could it be? There are many things like that that would make it a good drinking game, but if a keyword was Lagina, you would need a lot to drink :)

Ameripino Mark Hines: Probably just a broken axe and has nothing to do with anything.

Nec Big Dog Ozzi: Why is there leafs on the trees and they are without winter clothes when it is cold this x of year?

Andrew Daffin: They sale them washers at Screwfix

lola cola: Gary thinks he knows everything. He is loud, annoying and boring.

Jean Stammet: An Asian coin could help change history

Wanderlust 64: Maybe a washer off the Arch of the Covenant...... Maybe a coin minted by King Richard the 21st? Maybe part of a necklace worn by Queen Victoria. HISTORY CHANNEL has so much off the wall imaginary falsehoods.

Team White Wolves: The narrator is weird, I think his style is annoying, it’s like Gary: I think that’s a coin Narrator: Gary just found a coin! Everyone: why? Me: he just repeated what Gary said?

Elizabeth Redding: I've found some of those round coins with the square hole in center. I thought they were washers. Now I set out in search of where I put them. Very interesting!

LimblessAnt: OH DOES IT NOW I WOULD HAVE NEVER GUESSED THAT THE SHOW UNEARTHED SOMETHING THAT PROVIDES CRUCIAL EVIDENCE

Shannon Georgia Peach: I love ❤ how Gary still gets so amazed & excited when he finds objects like coins. I'm glad he is officially part of the team💰💱⚒

Bonjour Vietnam Bonjour Vietnam: Lookoke indochine coin 😜😜😁

Dave Bentley: A Roman beer tab is next... Could this get any more misleading ? Sure could...

anonymous: That's a washer dude!

Murray. Bayes: What is truely amazing is the the shovel handle grew 3ft longer

Ewen vandervliet: So are we going to get an explanation on how a Chinese coin got there

Ewen vandervliet: Looks like a Chinese coin to me.. can be dated

JEFF FARDAN: the drama needs on the show ... this is the point right?

Michael Cordio: i would like to tell them that they know what they are doing... you do not understand what you have there......... sorry

neo: A possible CH'ING DYNASTY coin??? Interesting...

Richard Bliss: Best saying in the world Bobby Dazzler!

Wijaya Nengah: That coin semilar like balinese coin, We have many old coin like that in Bali Normally we use for ceremony in the temple,!! But who bring there that coin??🤔🙄

star dusty: Welcome to another season of " A Bunch of Dudes Just Diggin Holes"

John Patriot: Can't they send some type of spectroscope down C1 and find out for sure what that gold colored stuff is???

Hari Yagnik: I have one of the coin like this but I am not sure it's same coin. the coin I have is small and it have square hole inside and there is something written on Chinese/Japanese don't Know I hope it will help you

Robert Berget-Davis: I think they used to put holes in coins to wear them

Dan Welsh: Hilarious

jim: That's our boy, Gary, you did it again...!~ Jack, that toy shovel at the start was funny, get a real shovel for the project, after all, you guys are finding all the treasure...! lol

Worlds Worst Musician: Jack is a weapon. He's always first to jump into the mud with a shovel. He's such a hard worker!

Joe Beeler: The treasure of Oak Island is the loot these boys make out of a popular cable show. The same boring nothing week after week. Over and over and over nothing.

Donna Peitz: I used to have a coin like that

Leon Guyot: Gary should know this is a Chinese coin! The square hole is typical of Chinese 'cash'.

John Fernando: 1:36 I quit my job because of, *p a i d t o b e h o m e .c o m*

XxThe Awoken OnexX: Iam always fascinated by this show and the Curse of Oak Island never ceases to amaze

71ravenman: I'm surprised that clown Jack Begley didn't destroy the find the way he pounds the shovel into the ground.

Michael Spiering: That's ba decorative piece of a saddle.

Chris Nelson: "The weight of it tells me it's old" ahaha

Matthew J: @history channel I watched last nights show and if you rewind it back to just where the guy goes down the shaft and get past the teeth he loosened some kind of gold when he stopped I have the show paused on the gold no Lie!!!! Might wanna check that history channel and guys!!!!

Alex Ace: Crucial evidence that there has been many poor souls trying and finding nothing there before for centuries?

D B: Bus token?

John Lex Suyod: Why they didn't used satellite scanning to find the treasure easily ?Satellite scanning I guess they find already trinity treasure of many treasure using it?.

RICK NICK: I think it's a manufactured or modified island for building ships

Max Steel: *i could very well be wrong, but the only square holed coins I know of, are Chinese. 1. For it to have gotten into the Atlantic Ocean around the 16th-17th century, it would have had to travel across the silk road.*

Bob Bradford: You can tell history channel dont want certain things said, just enough to get us wondering and baiting us, just like over the past years.

Bob Bradford: I was hopping there would be a different narrator..nothing against the guy probably a great person, just sick of voice

Bob Bradford: Lot of times he says its just iron and dont dig. On oak island i would dig everything

Danny Riley: It's a washer....with a hole in the middle.

Alex Kim: I thought I saw the hypixel logo on this until I went to the channel desc

Oscar Amaya: 👍👍👍

Michael Free: The deal with coins is... yes, it may be hundreds or thousands of years old, but it survived from it's creation to when you found it. It wasn't necessarily new when it was lost. And how much leaf litter and detritus becomes soil in a decade? Century?

Georg Andexler Andexler: What a big fat coincidence
