They're good at trans-dimension technology and time travel, but doesn't good at to create a peaceful society for maintaining advantage. Neither the high castle members nor anyone who get puzzled to this endless chaos, wouldn't have any brighter future. The darkness political battles costs everyone whether the youth or the old. But most of them enjoy the adventure to power or truth, so they lost their time. Parallel universe is not our concern, similar to ideological conflicts and difference are not our concerns. Advanced technology and power are not true helpful to high castle, they're waste their soul energy.

For one the Nazi Empire was actively being toppled by the Soviet Union, and could have defeated the Axis single handily if they needed to based off geological location. Speaking of that, the way North America is arranged, a massive naval invasion would have been the only way for Nazi Germany to take over, which was impossible since they had no where near the numbers even if they combined with Japan
