@AlexLopez-hn5ru: I get the sentiment that it's a little slow, and I do agree. Although it feels like a slow peeling of a fruit. And I am hoping it's a juicy ending haha. The trio of friends seems interesting enough. The family dynamics are interesting too with the obviously gay son, desperate older son, and forgettable daughter and mother. The husband though, it feels like they're edging us with his spiraling. And Belinda is the narrator of the season, I am so happy she's back. Greg too, even though he will be an obvious villain. The loser miserable guy is so unlikable I feel like skipping his parts. But his wife is a star. And Mook and the security guard are the nicest touch to this season; tenderness, warmth, and affection on full display (which is so absent from the relationships of our main cast).

@richardwagner8837: SNOOZE-FEST. The pacing is absolutely horrendous. It's clear Mike White didn't shoot enough footage to actually fill the episodes so far which means lots of beautiful b-roll and no real developing storylines. This is the consequence of having ONE person write AND direct EVERY episode, which is unheard of in the industry because of the logistical production backlog it creates. You NEED multiple episodes being shot simultaneously in order to capture enough footage to create storylines to fill the episode with meaningful content. As it stands, nearly 3 hours of 'Nothing-Burger' content so far could have been condensed into one 45 min episode. I understand a 'slow burn', but this pace isn't even lukewarm. You have to give the audience SOMETHING to hold their interest. Even bad reality TV has more drama and intrigue at this point. 'Slow burn' is being used as an excuse by HBO to defend bad production planning because one man insists on doing everything himself like it's an independent film, not a massively expensive HBO production with hundreds of crew and post-production staff (also to keep all the production fees for himself) Mike White needs to let go out the reigns a bit because he's choking his own creation to death...

It's boring, slow AND too many stupidities!!! Imagine a grown Man, pot HEAD all His life, gets two or three hits of thailand's best ganya and decides to liberate snakes 😂😂😂!!! The not existing monologue between the two con men its rediculous AND boring!!! AND if it's going to he that slow, it should last at least one hour and a half!!! Wishing the last four episodes are way better than the second AND third... The intro was ok... But they could've make the first night longer AND more interesting...

I feel like I’m being tricked every episode so far and being taken round a garden path. My prediction is it will all come together in the last 2 episodes and the rest is just filler I’m afraid.

@Bognerman14: The new White Lotus is horrible thus far. The first two season were decent but after two episodes, this one is hard to watch. Poorly written with no character development. My girlfriend and I have been watching but we've lost interest in continuing. Most of the women in this season are so difficult to watch. They all come across as dreadful human beings. My girlfriend and are sick of how women are shown now in modern TV. Narcissistic, abusive, manipulative and oppressive. Why? Then they make half the guys criminals. It's such a weird fantasy world so unlike real life that it's repulsive. We are wishing they had some more old school, traditional women in these roles. And none of the couples or families care about one another. When I think of my friends and families, we all love one another and treat each other with kindness and a gentle spirit. The people are all evil on this show, except a few of the Thai folks in the new season. We don't understand what has happened to women especially in this modern world and I think it is from shows like this. It's sad to watch. But they didn't have to portrait people so poorly here. All back stabbing and manipulative in this season. Hopefully they do better with their next season, unless season ends the show for good. It's that hard to watch. I guess it's a good escape if you don't mind such unrealistic situations and poor character development.
