Devasta The Seeker: I really think that My Hero would have been way better if midoriya never got one for all. It's neat but characters like Aizawa prove that you don't need a quirk to be able to fight. The scene where Midoriya runs in to save Bakugo and has the whole quick thinking bit where he comes up with a way to fight the villain (that ultimately does fail) is the sort of stuff that I was really hoping for when I first watched the show and the part where All Might tells Midoriya that he can succeed as a hero was really powerful. But t hen he just gets the magic punch ability because he activated All Might's friendship event and it just becomes generic shonen superhero show. Which isn't bad, but I just think that they could have had a much more compelling motivator for the main character.
