Lovey Dovey: When I first read this scene, after looking at their backstory tied with Vigilantes, I was heartbroken but still wasn't prepared to watch it animated. Shirakumo's desperate attempts to talk with his best friends again, trying to tear through years of physical trauma and conditioning just to say these few words.. heartbreaking. I've been quietly hoping that along with our good ending, that maybe Shirakumo could be given one too.
