Ryan Chen: Think of the baseball analogy as different teams. Pearson Specter is a team and Jonathan represents a different team.  Mike working for Harvey is playing in the minor leagues because of his associate only status, and is called upon to help the big league team when called upon, going "toe to toe" with other lawyers.  Working for Jonathan would be playing in the majors all the time with out the shackles, he doesn't need the law degree or any degree to be a banker (it's just highly recommended) and can still compete in lawful terms.  As long as he doesn't fake his education like Stan Jacobson... though you're right that Jonathan would be working under the assumption that he has a law degree. Don't forget that Louis' life goal is to have kids, he can't enter a marriage without that agreed upon because of his parents and his own expectations. Rachel was using a lot of passive aggressive behavior, which doesn't get you very far. 

mergulhador25: Cheers from Brazil! If Mike goes to work for Jonathan he would not have to be a lawyer, so that would be a great solution for his fraud problems, that´s why Rachel will tell him to take the job.

Phyllis Rhodes: I took it as Donna telling Rachel about Jessica covering Harvey's law school tuition.  But not sure why she didn't ask her parents to cover law school or take out loans like the majority of people.  Her tuition-angst was just too drawn out -- much ado about nothing.
