Randy Ohm: Everyone's roasting it but it's legit pretty good. Sure, it's no pk, but the pk's also no repeater. Carry a repeater and a 99 and you essentially have three guns: a long range marksman weapon, a 99 for close range, and a shotgun. Combine it with a gold mag and you can open with the repeater, switch to the 99, then finish with the repeater in shotgun mode. Plus it has 12 rounds vs the eva's 8 rounds and can be charged to do extra damage. It's not op, but it's a nice middle ground where you get some of the benefits of a shotgun but also some of the benefits of not carrying one.

AwesomeShawnGamingYT: I think they patched it up because yesterday I used it and I shot Valkyrie on the back 3 times and 1 shot on the head and it knock her down. With the hop-up I did a test on it to see if it is good and when it was a 2v3 (3 squads left me and my friend and 3 enemy’s it was Duo) and I charged it up with and without it and it is most likely my favorite. Hop-up charged is fine without hop-up and charging it up it’s kinda little bad.

Kintaku93: I like the shatter cap 30-30. I like to carry 30-30 as a long range weapon, but on World’s Edge with the hop up, you can change to shatter when in buildings and you get an Eva secondary with more bullets.

v CORDELIA v: I think the appeal of shattercaps is having a close range gun and a mid/long range gun at the same time. like if you've ever had a automatic weapon and wondered if you want a shotgun or a sniper as your next gun like a close or long range specialization. but on the other hand I think that peacekeeper and triple take also fill that niche in a way. obviously the peacekeeper does not have as much range and needs a long charge up to be effective at mid range. and the triple take is good close range as a shotgun type weapon and at long range Because it has nearly no weapon drop and is obviously a sniper. in general though I think the bow is also just superior to the 30-30 in every way. I think a small buff to shatter caps would be nice like reduced spread , more pellets , changing the spread to a more circular pattern or just straight up buffing the damage per pellet to 9. Nice vid though

David O'Dell: yeah yeah it's not as good of a shotgun as the pk or whatever but I think its advantage comes in the fact that you can have a 12 rnd shotgun and also quick reload by just keeping it topped off or only loading 1 or 2 shots and then shooting again if you're being pushed rather than having a whole reload animation. Not to mention you also have a shotgun and marksman rifle in a single slot so you can basically have 3 guns.
