Raiken Xion: What i find interesting here is that Jon Favreau kept this Luke reveal secret from Kathy's Story Group, i don't think she was present here when they shot this, but he had let her know roughly what he was doing i think. Why would Favreau feel he needed to keep this such a secret from the story group?? I mean if you remember Pablo snarkly hit out at you with that petty tweet about emotions not being for sharing or something. So he was annoyed that the Luke reveal got so much attention.

11bluekitkats: I don’t think people realize it but the reason lukes face looks so weird is 1 Disney put way less money into this then movies 2 they had a very small team work on it so less editors to make it look realistic because they cared more about keeping it a secret like remember de aged luke in rise of skywalker was sooo much better because it had a higher budget and whole team of editors working on it not just a few people like in mando just felt like it needed to be explained wish I made the stream !

He had Luke Skywalker's soul, the way he stares...Shamook caught HIS eyes. The way he STANDS. He's Luke Skywalker!! I knew it was him by the way he put his hood back slowly, the way he sheathed his lightsaber, put his hands together and held his right hand with his left. Mark Hamill all the way!! The way he raises his brows, his little smirk and the nod to Mando. No Sebastian Stan can imitate that. Any other actor different from Mark would feel fake, at least for the people who REALLY LOVE Luke Skywalker.
