StarRider88: Honestly this update is one of the best updates ever to come out for Sea of Thieves. Sure it isn't a major expansion like a new region or a new Tall Tale, but it adds a much, much needed sense of progression and satisfaction for your hours of grinding even if you sink. My friend and I played for like four hours today, and got sank before we could cash in a good portion of our loot (though we did manage to cash in some of it before needing to bail thanks to a ship). Even though we lost a lot of gold, it didn't feel like it was "for nothing" because just by playing the game, we leveled up in the Season earning gold, doubloons, and cosmetic rewards like ship parts and weapons. It still felt like I accomplished something and got rewarded for it despite losing the spoils of the gold hoarder vault. I feel like I actually want to go back to the game tomorrow and work for more Season tiers. This update isn't about expanding the content, its about lessening the sting and ensuring that nobody plays "for nothing" anymore. I lost a good amount of gold today and for the first time, it didn't feel like it was all for nothing.

Mr. RedSheep: I don't know if this is a horrible idea but i feel like they should either increase the amount you earned from ancient coins or decrease the amount the plunder pass cost so people who complete the pass can then get the season 2 plunder pass or buy the season 1 plunder pass this just how i feel like the the next seasons should work but i do like the fact that you can earn ancient coins because i can finally get a parrot to finish my parrot set

What else could we do skins for? Ships. And Emotes. Check. What else Fortapex do? Ah, right, Battle Pass. What do we put in it? Skins? Again? Idk what else. Too little for the beginning of season system. Lets add some story task content and a new seasonal mode. Ok. Thats works. I am just saying it all is quite a deja vu. Not epic enough.

Entity: I used to play this game a lot, when it was fresh. Then I realized the game has no reward other than cosmetics. I have no drive to hop on for anything but to sneak onto someones ship and mess with them. It's all cosmetics, that's all you get for every hour you put in. And of course, some fun with friends.. but that can only go so far. I really wish the devs would add a seperate mode for less casual players that actually has upgrades & I hope that further down the road they add more things to do rather than just kill this, sail here, dig this, go grab that. Regardless, beautiful game.. but lacks my interest gameplay long term.

EgorKino: The issues u have with this game are not connected to cosmetics, it is connected to gameplay, there is nothing to do except looting and fighting, sailing is pretty boring, in some cases it can even become very annoying, because random activities like kraken attacks are pretty scripted and repetitive. Try to create a fresh new coop missions, which are able to use all gameplay mechanics and keep everyone entertained. A good example is the newest tall tale. We want a good pirates of the caribian adventures with friends to play with. You have a very good game core in your hands and you just waste it on the same stuff you did. Rare you are not Fortnite.
