3max_well3: So are they kinda moving away from “major” content updates? (Ones the size of forsaken shores for example.) I was disappointed with the lack of new additions in the first season, but I was also kinda hoping that they were just getting into the swing of things. Here we are months later, and we still don’t have a ton of new additions. The new stuff with the merchant alliance is arguably the biggest new addition here, and although I think it’s really cool, it’s just not much of a game changer like the fort of the damned, fishing, or the megalodon was. If we’re talking cosmetics and emotes, then there’s a TON of new stuff. No complaints from me there. But as someone who’s more interested in gameplay experiences over player customization, I’m left disappointed. Before you guys unleash hell upon me, please know that I love this game. Although I don’t play it anymore, I stuck around from launch day all the way until they added blunderbombs. I am not a hater.

Arnaud Mahieu: what a let down... no mermaid update, no captaincy update, no mini games. Bunch of recycled mechanics and reskinned items. BUT WAIT! You can purchase crates now and hide in a barrel. It's becoming SEA OF EMPORIUM. No more lore development, no more world evolution...I guess we will need to wait for the final update of the "BIGGEST YEAR FOR SEA OF THIEVES YET" to sea real new content. I've played since launch and I'm losing faith in this game.

TAKEDOWN205 Productions: This update seems a but underwhelming, to be honest. Although this new update comes with some quality of life changes (like being able to buy resource crates and running a side-hustle for the Merchant's Alliance as you do voyages), there also isn't much to go off of for this season. On top of that, one of my own predictions came to pass: they re-skinned a world event! They're now making Ashen Wind loot more abundant with another, redundant fort event that people are gonna gun for, just because it has a big "UPDATE" sticker slapped on it. Although this update comes with some new things to toy with, there's still a lot left to be desired; before anyone says "But they only had three months to do this!" don't kid yourself. These people had an additional three-four months on top of the eight-ten months they've had since the last content update, and spent a majority of that time working on cosmetics. That said, because I scrutinize this update harshly, that doesn't make me a little appreciative... ... Resources crates were always a bitch to find. Lol

Hoping that Ever wild in some capacity could be Xbox's answer to Breath of the Wild. Oh and if Microsoft resurrects Kinect you are free to make some more Sports Rivals games too! Those were Underrated along with Kameo! We the gamers salute you and your tireless efforts to entertain!
