When Maggie went to kill him, she couldn’t because she saw a pathetic broken man who could only fight with people by his side. The tried, and tried, and tried to reach out to her for help, and she admitted that she purposely stayed away from the drop box. She also spoke about how every community she got involved with would fall. The fact that this almost did, but they're still going because of Negan can't escape her notice. Will it be easy? No. But as a mother, will she go with Hershel with no prospects? No. I can't see her doing that.

There really is no need for discussion. I like Negan but he did things that there can be no absolution for. You guys keep focusing on what was done to Abraham & Glenn. You seem to conveniently forget or overlook the fact that Negan was also a serial RAPIST!!! Retroactive Gamer: Also, I LOVE Negan, I have always loved the character, and the actor portraying the character, he is amazing. Although I didn't like how the Saviors storyline went in a lot of situations, it lasted sooo long, and I didn't like what they did with Rick's character either. But anyway, I really love Negan's story arc now, love his relationship with Judith, and his complicated relationship with Daryl. I hope he doesn't just get killed and they focus on the threats at hand. I know she'll never forget and probably never forgive, but I would like if they have a loose coexistence.

James: Rick made a mistake by not executing Negan. It only divided people, especially Oceanside and it enabled the saviors to think that someday Negan could lead them again. If Rick just executed Negan and then said “Now the new world starts,” it would have satisfied Oceanside and Maggie and it would have sent a message to the saviors who surrendered And if he had executed Negan, the fiasco at the bridge and the walker herd would have never happened and he’d be around today for Judith

Charlie Wells: People seem to forget that the saviours attacked us first... On the road in 609. Maggie let Negan live in the cell because she thought he was worse than dead. Now she comes back and Negan is out of the cell, seemingly free. I like Negan's character but he does not deserve Maggie's forgiveness. That "Hey Maggie" was frustrating because he was just expecting it all to be okay.

walkingdeadtheory: I think when it comes to Negan, he will never redeem himself. I do believe he has changed & would never go back to the way he was before, but how do you “redeem” yourself from something that horrific? He literally used to bash peoples brains in, while laughing & making jokes. He held women captive & forced them to be his wives, then if they disagreed he would stick a hot iron on their real husbands faces....that’s INSANITY. I do believe Negan is good now, i really do & i love his character, but he isn’t redeemable in my eyes. Maggie won’t & should never forgive him for what he did. Everytime she looks at Hershel, she’s reminded of what could have been. Also, the last time Maggie left, Negan was rotting in a cell, crying to be killed. For her to come back & he is out, walking around with the group, wearing his leather jacket?!?!? That must be crazy. I think his best bet is just to leave Alexandria & go off on his own.

It was seriously awkward when Maggie sees Negan again but I do think Maggie overtime will notice the change that Negan has done with helping save the community. Here is my theory of what is gonna happen with these two. I think through the season Maggie is going to change her view about him the the complete changing point is that Hershel is going to be in danger and Negan is going to save him which would complete the transformation. CRAZY theory is that after Negan saves Hershel and as time goes on..............................Maggie is going to start to have feelings for Negan (Loving feeling) then they end up being a couple!! Even CRAZIER.............what if they hooked up and she has a son with NEGAN. Crazy theory of mine, but do you think that would be too Corny to happen??

DALE LAPOINTE: I feel you have to look over the whole TWD experience from season 1 to now! Then you have to look at each individual, Rick went threw a lot even before meeting Maggie on the farm. His best friend saved his wife and son he was grateful to Shane for that then he even saved Carl again with the medical supplies in Ricks mind Shane was one of his best assets in this world and he had to kill him back on the farm in season 2. Years later he regrets that choice he dreamed about it he had took jabs from Carol even Carl about his choice over Shane. Maggie on the other hand didn't like Shane didn't care that Rick killed him it wasn't a huge blow to her yet Negan is heads and shoulders more evil to her then Shane ever was to the group and Rick decided to kill Shane but let Negan live! WHAT are you insane Rick I get Maggie reaction I feel for Rick he can't take back what he did to Shane he decided to do what his son wanted him to do spare Negan to end this war its called so mercy instead of not like Rick did to Shane. Maggie never understood that from Rick but she didn't kill her best friend and feel regret for it either I understand both characters reaction. Shane should of been sent packing instead of killing him and Negan odds are would of died to Rick for his crimes but he tried to fix his mistake bye letting Negan live in a jail cell for his crimes maybe even thinking back to Dale about us being civilized again as a society. Maggie needs to realize in this world today things are not black or white people do unthinkable things but its not like they can't come back from them ask Carrol who killed 2 people for the group because they were only sick or even a child because she feared for the rest of the group. Yeah hard choices to be made Maggie needs to come to terms that Negan killed her man but saved everyone else in this group I wont forget or forgive but I will come to terms with it. But if he does anything I deem BAD NEGAN he is MINE!@@

Men and woman literally murdered in their sleep. For that, Negan was willing to just kill one of them. Ricks team kinda had it coming.

Nicolas Nesmith: I never considered Negan a bad guy. I mean Rick's people started the whole thing and kill a lot of his people first. Negan as a leader had to make a statement/ yes it was messed up and all but something had to give. But if I was in Maggie's situation. I don't know what I'll do, but I would not kill him, because isn't nothing gonna change. But i will forgive but wont forget. And at the end of the day there is no bad guys or good guys in the walking dead. It's all about survival and kill or be killed.

There's no way you can justify Glenn's death for the shows characters, especially not for Maggie.
