Chén Qíng: Really love the episode! What I look forward to the most in this season, and what I'm intrigued by the most, is Negan and Maggie dynamics. And like you said, the conversation that they had was amazing (and it made a lot of sense for both characters). In the Commonwealth, that was clearly a trap. I already smelled that the sneaky bastard (I forgot his name lol) was up to something when he sent Eugene and "Stephanie" to where that was. And come on. They got all those space troupes and they're very organized, but walkers still got in? Where were the lookouts? And they actually let that happen with Milton's son around? That was sus. Taking Yumiko's brother was part of the plan. That guy might've done that to buy time and delay Yumiko's meeting to Milton. Also, I think fake Steph was doing it cause she also had offense; she needed to work for her freedom. Anyway, love Eugene. That spoiled bastard he punched got what he deserved. Abraham would be proud. Daryl's seeing it. Can't wait for him to take advantage of his current position. Gabe had been rubbing me the wrong way until this episode. I like the him that saved Negan, their enemy, back then. I kinda wanted to see that again, even subtle. Right! So the episode is great! Can't wait for the last episode next week, but sad that we'll have to wait again after that.

Phyllis 2284: Alpha, Beta, and none of the Whisperers never covered themselves with Walker guts. Remember Daryl and Connie only used masks to rescue Henry and Lydia from Alpha. I would leave The Commonwealth. It looks pretty on the outside, but I think it's not so pretty on the inside. I would go back to Alexandria and hope we can figure something else out.

Katie Young: Another FANTASTIC episode and reaction fellas!! 👏🏽 I am loving the Negan/Maggie dialog, I love JDM (and Negan as a character) more and more each episode. Gotta be honest, ima be pissed if all the Reapers storyline/back story is what Leah shared. "We needed a place so we took it and now we have to kill the ones we missed in the initial attack (and anyone now even *possibly* associated with them)" 🙄😒 granted it's basically what we (Rick and Co. Season 6) did originally at the satellite station but wayyyy lamer and boring. There's alot of potential for a decent story but there's no time. It's time the Reaper storyline end and we move strictly Common Wealth and dig in deep there hopefully.

Chris Wolf: Although I would hate following rules and being restricted by the "elites", The Commonwealth does have all the little perks like air conditioning, heat, running water, plumbing, security, and desserts. Most importantly since their vetting process is so strict, you don't have to worry about new arrivals possibly stabbing you in your sleep and overtaking the community.

HFG: Great reaction! The way I see it, half of Alexandria will get kicked out of the Commonwealth for some silly reason or another so what’s the point?? It’s crazy that our group is just expected to know all the rules & fall in line w/their hierarchy. After all they’ve been through surviving in the wild, they’re getting gaslit left & right by a bunch of pretentious clowns who haven’t been through anything as hard as what Alexandria has. I can see why Daryl & Carol will decide to take off. Commonwealth can keep their ice cream, I’d ride out too💨. Also, Maggie says she won’t debate levels of cruelty w/Negan but she basically does that every episode😅.

When they first showed him walking from afar I had a suspicion that was him given his attitude xD. - Really hoping there is more depth as to WHY the reapers are after Maggie so badly & it isn't just "Oh we needed a place so we took this one" that would make them far less interesting if they didn't have a solid reason for it IMO. - HOPING THIS MSF IS A BANGER END TO THIS FIRST THIRD!!! Have a weird feeling about Gabe & that other religious guy...maybe he will come back later & end up having to kill each other or he will kill someone from our group & Gabe will regret it.

Back in season one when they did the guts truck, they still moved like a Walker - staggering, shoulders dropped, etc, so I think the Whisperer mask is the same concept. The Maggie/Negan chat was fucking awesome, I've always been in the camp of our group started shit first, Negan didn't sanction the Abe/Sasha/Daryl road hijack so that doesn't count, sorry. So glad he brought up Gracie, The Saviors had families too. Negan is a man of his word, Maggie? Not so much. Imo, Ezekiel looked high af 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Ellis Smith Jr: Maggie is playing Negan,she is pretending and allowing Negan to think that he is the smartest person around,being a teacher and right on everything. Maggie has Negan to feel comfortable at saying what he really believes such as if he had a chance to do it all over again,he would have killed everyone on the line...Meaning that then he would Still be the big guy incharge of everything happening now. Maggie IS the one who is the Smartest person around,she allows Negan to keep talking and falsely thinking that Maggie is submitting to his way of thinking and will come to having Negan take charge again which is his goal. Everything that Negan has done in the last 3 seasons was to find a way to get people to eventually trust him by saving puppies,kittens and children...Now he believes that he has successfully gained Maggie's trust and to go along with his plan in again,to eventually be all about him and being the big guy and in charge as he once was. Maggie is setting a trap that will reveal who Negan is to everyone.She keeps telling him in every episode including this one the he only cares about himself and what would only be in his best interest. Negan is falling for the trap because all he can see and want is to be the big guy that he use to be and would be more brutal than before in which he has confessed to Maggie here. Maggie has plenty of time and giving Negan all the rope he wants to reveal what he is and to pretend that she is on board with his self ego secret plan that he thinks no one has caught on to...which is false,Maggie is playing him and its Not hard to do for after all...Negan has Always wanted her. This may just be the reason that she has come back to fix and solve,the mission!

Did they give Ezekiel REALLY good drugs or what? Lol Seems like after every visit to the dr he comes back more in love with the place. I usually love Darryl, but so far that storyline sucks. I'm ready for the Reaper stuff to be done. Or at least for us to know what Maggie did. I want more Alexandria and maybe some word from Oceanside. Are they still there? I mean the Whisperers didn't get there right? Do they have food for the group? Oh yeah...you guys made me buy the whole Compendium set. I need to know the whole comic series now too.

John Leeka: I always thought that since the whisperer masks are literal faces of diseased bodies and dead corpses, it probably will smell bad no matter what. Probably works the same way as the guts and stuff.
