I also like the idea of Johnny getting one last tournament match to win it all. But Making them all cobra Kai is the single dumbest decision to me. It makes Silver/The Iron Dragons the final bosses of the season when that should be Kreese. It’s ridiculous to me that the tournament just accepts teams completely subbing out their roster in the finals is match (replacing the captain after Kwon’s death I get. But pulling from another team/switching sensais? Dumb). It’s dumb that Cobra Kai isn’t disqualified after Kreese brought a knife into the competition. And it’s dumb to try and make cobra Kai unlikely good guys after spending the entire show explaining why everything about the way it runs is bad. Yes you could say that the philosophy will be different now, but if it’s going to be something good/moral. Why not just keep it Miyagi Do? The whole show was about Johnny learning why the Cobra Kai creed is bad while Daniel learns that self defense doesn’t mean never facing conflict. Seeing them finally meet philosophies while fighting in the name of the man that saved both of them back in the OG movies makes way more sense thematically and honors the original films. This ending is trash and it breaks my heart.

@Mr.Productions-cub19: My true opinion is that Robby literally had 10 episodes for him, leaving Miguel aside a little, it would be unfair if in part 3 Robby won because he would have the entire season for himself, so I think that Miguel would win the sekai taikai in some way.

Kwon was showed superior to miguel(by only one point but let me explain) and robby defeating kwon is the perfect beginning of the end of his arc, by being supported by miguel and all the others but now axel was being shown as miguel rival and robby being miyagi captain but this time miguel being cobra kai captain is the perfect plot he is el serpiente! It's miguel time to shine by beating his rival and being supported by robby and all the others as a captain! Robby time's isn't over im sure of it i can see him as a true leader in part 3 like miguel in part2 but stop complaing about how the writers made robby dirty again bc it's not robby had one of the best arc and miguel taking the spot and being supported by robby is one of the best thing, bc robby could finally realise that it's not if he win that everything is gonna be alr but its if his team win that he could reach his full potential by accepting miguel spot as a captain.

Johnny literally goes all the way to Mexico to get him no questions asked. This show is called Cobra Kai for a reason so don't be surprised or mad when it ends with Johnny and Miguel

@Sir_Quaxolotl: My theory is that with the end of s6 part 2 after the fall out of Kwon's death , Sensei Kim decides to remove the korean cobra kai dojo from contention. Considering the media scandal the Sekai taikai is close to being shut down but Terry with his money and his ultimate goal of trying to spread his legacy to the world bank rolls them to host it in the all valley centre . Robby and Axel have their semi- final rematch with Axel winning but Robby is seriously injured . This means Miyagi-Do doesn't have enough points to win however Johnny is able to argue that he technically created Cobra Kai or has some form of ownership and because it is held in the all valley centre he is registered as it's owner is able to take over their points. I would imagine Daniel would have some sort of issue with this but after the skeleton fight get's on board. I would imagine tory and sam have their final fight and without Robby in commision , Tory and Miguel act as the captains for Johnny's Cobra kai . With Tory vs Zara and Miguel vs Axel they are able to tie up the scores leavingthe final to be Johnny vs Wolf where he is finally able to make up for his all valley loss all those years ago

Robby beat Miguel for the Captains spot/Role. 2. Robby beat Qwan a formidable fighter. Where as Miguels wins are not that important compared to Robby's. Not only that but Miguels mother said something on the lines of this to both Miguel and Johnny in E8 I think: " karate is what brought this Family together. Go back and finish what you started. Both of you " Wether you want to admit it or not both Johnny and Miguel started this TV Series and they are going to finish it by winning the Sakai Takai.

@Guts-tality: I'm not bothered, the moment robby beat kwon i knew it was set up for miguel to beat axel, they're not about to have robby beat both axel and kwon in one season. Now i'm not a fan about how they went the cliche route having to injury robby rather than just making him lose, if they wanted to make miguels victory over axel look more epic and make him look like the legitimate top fighter, injuring robby's leg which are a cruical expect of his personal style, was not the way to do it.

@LukeWeldon-hi1pc: 1) I really didn't want the tournement to end with part 2 and a different story angle for part 3. 2) Robby getting his knee injured? yep, sounds like the producers realized they showed Robby as the most skilled fighter and realized Miguel is the main character so they had to nerf him. 3) I kinda hope they lose because think of what they would have to do to Axel for Miguel to either tie with him or beat him let alone the sensei fight. I think it would help keep the show real instead of basically throughing plot armor to the main characters.

Are we all 💯% positive that Kwon is actually dead and we won’t find him in a hospital somewhere in p3, because imagine if that’s the fast one they decide to pull on us, that he’s actually still alive….. That would be a miracle that is unfortunately unrealistic improbable and highly unlikely but this is Cobra Kai so you really never know.
