@modelsandtrains7915: Just felt it wasn’t as polished as previous seasons….take four and five they were brilliant! Writing out chozen like they did is what I hated, just him looking at the phone for cheap flights then that’s it gone! No mention from other characters about him. Mike Barnes shows up picks the team he’s gone! They brought up Dutch about being in prison (wonder why they mentioned him), you can tell it was written during the writers strike.

@alanrice7410: Daniel saw a young Miyagi photo and said it was Mr Miyagi but the birthdate was 1918 instead of 1924 and the first name was different. Daniel could have been mistaken and thought that this was the same Mr Miyagi that he loved, but it was actually one of Mr Miyagi’s relatives possibly a brother or a cousin with the last name of Miyagi. When Daniel visited the boxing ring that Mr Miyagi started with the owner’s grandpa, it could have been a relative of Mr Miyagi rather than the same Mr Miyagu that mentored him. The boxing gym owner and Daniel would both think they are talking about the same person but would actually be talking about two different people with the same last name. Do you think this was Mr Miyagi that stole the jewelry and assaulted the store owner or do you think it was a relative of Mr Miyagi?

@Slider-xj6wc: The theory i have with johnny is that he is embracing miyagi do as hes working with daniel and seeing that while it is a way of life and how cobra kai was his way of life back then. Hes embracing miyagi do as a way to say hes finally settling down he has a family with a baby on the way he doesnt want to cause and stir any unnecessary trouble especially now that he had Robby and Miguel work together and how he mentored Sam despite their differences. His fight with chozen in ep 1 of season 6 even though he realizes that miyagi do is a legacy that deserves to carry on he learns that after he realizes he wants nothing to do with cobra kai. the whole season screams balance as the lesson. And Johnny while reffing the sam vs tory for the captain spot reflects that while yeah he didnt know bout the whole situation he was trying to understand that tory was upset and she still wanted to fight. And daniel didnt want to have emotions on the mat cause emotions cloud focus the key to miyagi do being focus. And with flared emotions tory could have seriously hurt sam. Johnny was trying to do his best for the situation while daniel tried to make it about miyagi do and amanda was simply trying to figure out whats best for her while protecting sam. And i hope tory realize that. She coulda talked to Robby she coulda gone to Daniel or Johnny but she kept it a secret cause she didnt wanna burden anyone else and especially amanda cause she was the one who helped her get her mom the best care before her unfortunate demise. Season 6 so far shows the focus to be on Tory. As well as Johnny's slow integration of Miyagi do

But I don’t understand how Kreese can attend a televised worldwide karate competition like the Sekai Taikai when he is an escaped convict. Like why aren’t they trying to bring him back to prison? Thats my only issue with part 1 of season 6 episodes 😅.

@TheKira708: I don’t like how some of it seemed so rushed....especially towards the ending. One minute Tory leaves, because they won’t let her fight. Then next scene at the tournament, shes out the blue....with Cobra Kai again 😑 it’s like dam, I really wanted to see her interaction with Kreese after she left, an how he persuaded her back to Cobra Kai. But instead the next scene, she’s automatically back with them. Very rushed smh

@FootballKing551: Here’s what I think I think that Miyagi do goes back so far that they have the secret scrolls and different moves to take down an opponent and the blood that was on Mr. Miyagi‘s headband, the one from the psychic guy I think that when he he may have faced him, and he hit him with like an ear move and busted his eardrums just a thought and I also think that the scrolls later one Daniel and the other students may have to learn those scrolls to defeat someone like Master Kim or crease or something

The acting is bad and the martial arts the actors do it's so bad it is just laughable! Also, the girl coming into the season who put on 50lbs! The show lacks real martial arts moves that look like a bunch of white belts who are so-called champions! William and Ralph are the only ones keeping the show alive!

@jesselopez7618: While I understand all the big surprises and plot twists are being saved for the next two parts, if there's anything I took from watching the first five episodes of Part I it's how strong of a character Terry Silver was/is and how his absence was felt. He's such a dynamic presence and truly elevated the last two seasons. The onscreen pairing of Kreese and Kim Da-Un was flat in my opinion, at least for this part. I thought Daniel's reaction to Mr. Miyagi's past was a bit much and his and Johnny's bickering has become tiresome. They take a step forward to take three steps back each time. Part I was still entertaining and I enjoyed it and will be curious as to the directions Part II takes the characters in.

@angelostsanai97: Most of the people think that having three parts it’s a bad idea, I don’t agree we have 10 more episodes and now we are very hyped and pumped that we saw the first 5 episodes and we know from now that we are gonna see crazy things in the other 10, see it as an appetizer and know we only have to wait for the other two plates to be fully entertained!

@BPMChan-nr7ik: The Miyagi-Do Saikai Takai team has some people that are questionable or frankly don't belong on the team because of direct/indirect manipulation by Johnny and possibly Daniel. Whether you like his harsh training and team selection techniques or not, Mike Barnes did a great job of selecting the team based entirely on skill and talent alone. The only reason Devon Lee is there is because she whined to Johnny that Barnes was intentionally ignoring her which led to Johnny having an intense smackdown with Barnes that made him do another unnecessary competition among Devon, Hawk, Kenny, and Dimitri for the last 2 spots in which Devon won a spot by putting laxatives in Kenny's water to make him have diarrhea so he would fail and Demitri won the other spot because Hawk was feeling bad about not applying to MIT along with him because he wanted to explore other options and Dimitri took out his anger on him. Tory would have likely stayed with Miyagi Fang if Daniel had not stopped the fight against Sam and allowed her to continue on in spite of the fact that she was clearly grieving the loss of her mom and fighting recklessly/unsafely. He was clearly well-intentioned trying to protect both of them but instead this angered Tory even more as she felt they were favoring Sam and drove her to rejoin Kreese and rebooted Cobra Kai. Both Daniel and Johnny made some bad/questionable decisions in their desire to cement their legacies at the Saikai Taikai and it may come back to bite them later on in part 2 and part 3

I just think it's freaking awesome to watch Johnny interact with Barnes, Chozen being Daniel's, buddy... Daniel is calling Barnes. Johnny is fighting Chozen.... That's all bad ass for us old school fans

At this rate, we’re gonna get a cameo of Jayden Smith calling somebody a coward.

Robby promised Tori that he promises wherever Tori goes he goes so he will end up going to the Dark side. But then who takes the last spot on Miyagi Fang..?? Easy. Lapisso(Little Larusso). Then we have Kenny vs Laruso, Sam vs Tori & Miguel vs Robby in the championship with Miguel getting revenge from losing Captian. Another thing that could happen Tori beats Sam but then has to face Devon & Devon wins and becomes the women's champion. That would be cool! There ya go y'all! Theres your plot for the Final episodes. P.S really hated them splitting this into 3 parts. Maybe make the episodes longer and have this be two parts at MOST? We shouldnt have to wait until next year to find out what happens.

It was nearly over, and his helicopter parenting over being a fair sensei. Then punches Johnny because he is all in feelings! Back Tory no goes after her to try change her mind and one bothers tI see if she's okay! Then she joins Cobra Kai, undoing all her character growth! Forgetting Tory and SenseI Kim hate each other and suspension of disbelief that Krease a wanted felon could leave the country with a 17 minor! Wtf and finally we are to believe no one checked on or called Tory to see if she was okay. Again WTF

@alimshaali5722: As someone who has been waiting for this season, the show feels so dry and stumped. They keep going back to the same storyline that we thought they were done with and provided the characters with the development. The storyline is the same. After a point, it feels as if the adults in the show are worse than the kids.

@isaiahsturgis5037: I hate to say it but between the conflict between Daniel and Johnny, I think both of them are on the wrong. Daniel was so obsessed with Miyagi’s secrets that he started to let it go over his head that he slowly started the way he acted at the beginning in season 5. Meanwhile Johnny was so obsessed with becoming badass again that they need a little more anger and aggression. But here’s my problem, wasn’t this the exact same argument that they had during season 4? Like Daniel learned that he had to let his Daughter use either the semi aggressiveness of Eagle Fang or the sense of honor of Miyagi-Do as long as she keeps her anger in check. She can be a bit aggressive, as long as she’s having honor inside of her, unlike shown in the principles of Cobra Kai. Strike First, Strike Hard, but have an amount of Mercy. That’s a reverse version of Cobra Kai.

Also why was hawk not chosen early to go to the sekai tekai, it is so crazy to me that Devon got chosen first, she’s good, but nowhere NEAR as good as hawk, he was the boys all valley champion.

@Dismantled500: Many critsicisms with this season unfortunately , cuz as much as i love this show there was many criticisms , We constantly keep seeing Daniel and Johnny becoming friends then enemies , then friends thene enemies and the cycle repeats , then we have Devon and the laxatives plot was just pointless don't see a reason she'd cheat , the Kreese in Korea scenes just felt like a cheesy cartoon , Miguel vs Robby although i think Robby did have a fair chance at winning but who we kidding the only reason Robby won is plot armour , also the constant becoming friends then rivals thing is ridiculous , its like the writers don't know if they want the characters to be friends or enemies , and wtf was that scene with Kenny shitting himself like they did bro dirty with that one , and why the fuck did they get Tory to join back cobra kai like i get her mum died but come on all this redemption arc shit just for it to go to the dump , all in all quite disappointed ,
