Tee Mac: Sorry, that "super fan" was as annoying AF. Couldnt watch it all the way through.Написать
Akeem Weathersby: Ann dowd is just talking here but it feels like she is acting.
Mary Harrison: How about disposing of the idea that being able to cope and do what you have to do to survive trauma is immoral, or too horrible for a truly strong woman?
Ellis D: This episode hurt me in the end.. Janine went to that dude and did what June could not, and was completely fine with it because that was all she was use to… even before Gilead. It’s heartbreaking..
Deb Ma k: I'm almost done with this show. Will these people ever catch a break? Dark, darker, darkest 😢
SRBang0409: Omg i love Janine. Cant wait for episode 5! ❤
KUPHSER: this show just goes round and round and round.. bored of it now
Francesca: Anne Dowd is a beautiful person and I love hearing her speak about anything! 💖
Kelly: I think Janine gets recaptured, as in one of the trailers she's in the handmaid uniform on her knees scrubbing the floor!! I hope Janine is the one who finally opens Aunt Lydia's eyes that turns her against Gilead and starts plotting
TorontoTS TS: This interviewer... sheesh.
Dramas in Pyjamas: Janine has more practical survival skills to bring to the table than we think. Her pre-gilead life taught her to be resourceful. Whether she will battle on and persevere through whats to come and what has happened is anyone's guess. How can you imagine how anyone would persevere through something like that. I think she's just a strong as June but the intentions and ideals are different. Janine doesn't want to hurt anybody, but June seems to consider hurting/killing/losing people as a means to an end (or at least I see her mindset heading in that direction).
Ruby V: I think Janine is stronger than June.
Lisa Mafuvadze: I just finished watching the 4th episode and I have to say, I am so mad at June, I know that she has done a lot of great things and that she has also suffered a great deal but I was really hoping that Janine would tell her that others have also suffered a great deal because of June's actions. She should have been a little kinder to Janine. And Janine did what June couldn't do for them to stay in that Chicago place. Those girls that were thrown over the roof died for nothing because June ended up giving up Janine and the other girls' location. There are so many things that June does that affect people around her. Seeing how she lashed out at Janine was the final straw for me.
Sabrinaandmom7: I didn't think I would like anything about Aunt Lydia, but she has a cute accent!! 😁 Yes, I know Aunt Lydia is a role. Move on
Kimberly D: Janine is so close to a breakdown that I'm not sure June should ever tell her about her son's death.
Suki B: The first time we see Janine she was so outspoken and later she seemed “subdued” for the most part but she had a lot of moments that surprised me but I was waiting for that fire from the first time seeing her. It’s definitely still there.
Dangerouskoala: I definitely caught myself slacking on Janine after that last episode.. I love her and she’s been here since day one and she’s survived she deserves more credit.
Sandra Myers: Ann Dowd one of the most incredible actors I've seen, on the level with Francis McDormand ....
Creativewriter3: Whitney is so distracting. I really loved Ann's analysis and her cadence was great. Whitney has the mid level vocal frying which is soooooooo annoying. Form a freaking sentence instead of rambling on like some Bargain Basement Elsa.
W H: This show is " fear feminism" at it's worst. Just absolutely ridiculous. Anyone who buys into this garbage is an idiot.
CareBear: June and Janine are great friends working off each other’s strength and weaknesses. Love them
Μαρια Χατζη: Do we know if her daughter is safe with that monstrous couple?? The last time we heard about her was last season. I am soooo worried. She can't loose another child and I am looking forward to a reunion with her baby girl. More than I am looking forward to a reunion of June with her daughters. She had her chances and she ruined them
Coco A: Janine was always one of the strongest characters… I don’t know why no one could see that before.
Ashley Murphy: I think Janine will die in Chicago. I think that's what happened in the books
Trinity Hall: What episode does Janine bite ms putnam?
Rebecca Pierson: “We don’t bite people, Janine,” lol.
Touching The Rainbow: "Cut my tongue out, it’s an honor!“ Laughing so hard at this 😆
Erica Gamet: I could listen to Ann and Whitney talk about and dissect this show for DAYS!! After watching the "One Burning Question" segments on Hulu (I just had to come here since there are no comments to read over there), I need to go back and watch each episode of this season at least twice. And then have them come back and discuss the first three seasons, as well! LOVE THESE SEGMENTS!
J: Im listening to the Ann Dowd audio book version of The Testaments (Handmaids Tale follow up by Margaret Atwood) Its great!
Karen Sylvia: Ann is absolutely brilliant in this show!
Kerry Luckett: Janine is like my dear old mother: she sacrifices to survive. It’s harrowing but valorous.
Carrie Anne Thomas: Ann Dowd. Wow. Someone should have her do running commentary on the show and it’s philosophy. Her insight and nuanced conversation is untouchable.
Marjorie Nicholson: People who underestimate a woman's power ....live to regret it!
B B: Janine will be stronger than most would’ve first suspected. She’s just been emotionally damaged by everything that’s happened to her character, but she’s been pushed to the point that now she’s going to be a lot tougher because she realizes she can’t rely on anyone else to do all the unpleasant stuff for her.
Elisabeth Moss Clips: Loving this aftershow so much! But hey, Whitney is not Handmaid's biggest fan ;)
Jennifer Stanfield: Can we talk about how AMAZING Ann’s hair looks?!?! From one brunette to another: 😍😍😍😍😍😍
David Brien Lantry: I am preparing myself for Janine's eventual death/sacrifice. This show is following a format where beloved characters are killed off and I suspect that Janine's days are numbered.
mel riv: I had a boss who was very much like aunt Lydia and I love her to this day
Sarah Dalusma: This is the ultimate after show!!!!!
Wacky Macky: Ann Dowd is so insightful.
Akash: She just doesn't show off her strength.... That's what makes her more like a predator... ❤️❤️
A. P.: My God who doesn’t love Ann Dowd!
Meme 021: Janine has been strong since season 1.
Catalina: This show has jumped the shark, the writers are delusional.
Anna S.: Just because someone is emotional and feeling does not mean that person is weak. Janine is amazingly strong.
SABEEE9999: What I need is Aunt Lydia to organize the rebellion from inside Gilead, I mean, she lost the handmaids like 4 times, and she got severely punished by that, now after the crossing incident...well I guess she's done...
S Han: Surprised Hulu will hold these talks - I think strange choice of people to discuss this stuff... irrelevant.
James Longstaff: I've sensed Janine's strength for a long time. The unwoman episode was a good example of this.
Amal Chaaban: The cast of this show is everything. Just. Everything.
Cersei Lannister: If Janine doesn't end up killing Aunt Lydia by the end of the series, I'll stop watching the show :), Ann Dowd terrific job, Aunt Lydia Hypocrite and perverse lady.
MsJrzy: Aunt Lydia is the absolute worst!
