Of course that can be argued due to Jason’s death and Red Hood which I think is an other factor. But I think Bruce is dead but Grayson won’t admit to returning due to Batman’s death cause he’ll eventually have to take up the mantle.

My Getaway: i think the Death of the Family story will be approached from the Titans pov, we saw Dick overlooking the scene, which might be an indication that whatever goes on between Joker and Jason is seen more distantly, not through Jason or Bruce's eyes, but through Dick's eyes, and how that affects him and how Jason being Red Hood affects the Titans. I frankly don't even think Bruce knows at what extent Jason is willing to push himself, he's not even there on the scene. It might seem obvious in a Titans show to adapt the story from their perspective but this is a Batman story and normally, to adapt it, it would make more sense to show it as close as possible to the action, either where Jason is, being beaten up by the Joker, or where Bruce is, emotionally, trying to save Jason. This being a Titans show, it's refreshing to tell the story from a different perspective other than those two, and Dick being one who just avoided spiraling down a dark path, sees sort of a dark, alternate version of himself in Jason, a version in which things went wrong and he had no support system, that being the Titans.

Random Eric Things: I hate the Bat Embargo. It prevented the Joker from being in Season 2 of Justice League Unlimited as part of the Legion of Doom. Warner Bros is supposedly now all about embracing the multiverse yet they still won’t let the CW or HBO Max have characters like Batman, Joker, etc in their shows. Speaking of which, are Titans even allowed to use Superman and Lex Luthor because I would love to see those two in season 3.
