katherine collins: This was presented well

R M: Wow😳😳😳😱😭😭😭how can 1 lunatic commit so many gruesome crimes and the f*cking police do nothing???!!!!! I'm utterly disgusted! It wasn't Philippe that got wronged, it was us all that evil impacted even by merely watching this. Poleni sana🙏

S: cant believe he got 25 years. there are people in the US serving life for possessing small amounts of weed

SargeanttheVR: Maketta good one okay?

Joe Joe: 🌞 NO WONDER THE PEOPLE WHO LIVE ON THIS COMMUNITY SEEK ESCAPISM THRU DRINK AND DRUGS. !!!

Joe Joe: SUCH A HORRIFIC SITUATION TO BE MURDERED AND RAPED BY A KILLER WHO IS DEMONIC AND VERY EVIL.💂

FREE BIRD: Water faucets and power pole seen everywhere but you say no running water or electricity, oh what a liar you are.

Self-Law: Predator and prey. ITS NATURAL BEWARE.

Mary Jane Rodriquez: Only 25 yrs. What a slap in those people face. Where is their justice???😡😡😡 disgusting and heart breaking. All people deserve justice.

Deko Dekic: I don’t understand how people still live like it’s ancient times.

Sharyn G: How horrible for the people that live there. My thoughts and prayers for them

Robert Diengdoh: For all those crimes.... Just 25 years????!!!!

Jake Handley: The type of police who go after someone with expired car tax .. but can’t be bothered with a serial killer

Man Ransom: I thought this was a documentary about a murderer but all of a sudden I’m getting this sob story about Africans in a country that doesn’t even allow people to hire whites. NEXT.

Jadey Baby: He punched his wife in the head, beat her, stabbed her, broke her knee… But him having an affair was “the last straw” that made her leave him?? 🤷🏼‍♀️

Jadey Baby: What a great community leader. Taking the crimes to the media when police weren’t investigating was very smart! Keeping track of all the murders and rapes in his community, of people he knew… It must have been so difficult 😞

Karma Yt: Once again the serial killer comes from a large dysfunctional family. Birth control. Eugenics!

Paddy McCarthy 2.0: Great documentary. What a bunch of idiots the police were. The Captain should definitely have been fired, as he was the one responsible for the investigation and he completely botched it.

Chris Jay: The police in South Africa are helpless and hopeless. Communities, rich and poor, need to protect themselves and cannot rely on shody police work.

Norahsx: Are they speaking Dutch??? Cuz I could understand everything without the subtitles lol

Nour .M: The police were so incompetent in this case and left these poor farmers to be butchered. Tragic.

Alexis Stroud: I will be praying for people in south Africa and I feel very sorry for theses people I pray in Lord Jesus name that theses people have a better police and better safety

Nico Sekano: I'm South African & It's sad that Serial killers are not as glamorized or publicized as in western countries especially for true crime enthusiasts like us.

Jay Company: Nicoleen de Wee, a good investigated reporter n good looking woman.

Claire Tomkyns: Excellent journalism and world class documentary exposing harsh SA realities!

Nomathemba M: If you are wondering, South Africa is far worse, especially as a woman, GBV is high, our criminal justice system doesn’t do what it is meant to do, our police are corrupt & women are asked to not report their husbands etc. when abused by those meant to protect us. 😵‍💫

I Tara You: Stupid police failed and still denied that’s no serial killer

elle j Loesch: When the police were walking the first suspect away, my thought, no way is that feeble man the guy.

Thomas Cox: This is a superb documentary. It was comprehensive and interviewed so many of the important people involved in the case. The documentary also captured the atmosphere of the community that Maketta terrorized. This is extremely difficult for any documentary filmmaker to do.

Inusah Amadu: Moses Sithole, Siphon Thwala,Cedric Maake,David Randitsheni now Jimmy Maketta(just a few) is South Africa trying to compete with America about serial killers?

Inusah Amadu: Police are the same everywhere, always the last people to connect the dots.

Nicole Theunissen: Hearts of men are cold in the last days, turn now.⌚ For What is the deal if you gain the whole world but stil lose your own soul ❗wake up💤💯💉🧬☠🌊...like in the days of Noah God will judge the world⌛..

Yukie From Oz: Didn't you guys post this one before already? I remember it...

Debra Dorfman: I thought South Africa had capital punishment.

Darling Where’s the coffee?: OMG 😳 we have serial killers too 🇿🇦

MegaSpiritualWarrior: Jesus Saves🙏

Lilian Haggland: My poor people,I am so sorry for your pain and your circumstances

David Detrana: He's innocent there's no way he could do these things

john doe: Corruption thats how government works.

Denise Shephard: I hope this person gets the hangmans noose He has taken away so many lives men women couples The sentence he received is shocking what kind of justice is this for the victims I just hope that KARMA comes and does the same to him

Linda Deavours: Like many police , the South African station ignored the needs of the people . If the Philippi community had been influential people , they might have garnered the police's attention.

Jón Steinar: Ramaints from colonialism. They speak a dialect from Dutch.

Laurel Girard: Shame on them for blaming Abe. He was the first one to listen to the victims and verify their Accounts

Cathy McGlasson: OMG 25 years is not enough he should of gotten the death penalty.

Cathy McGlasson: This dude should of had mental help as a child or some kind of treatment.

Bob Bouwer: Hearing people talk Zuid Afrikaans is always interesting for a Dutch man like myself.

Louise Reeves D’Angelo: All those murders all those rapes and all he gets is a solid 25 years?? What kind of justice system are you running there in Cape?

anglofrançaise Yvonne: His lawyer said he had difficulties with his wife?? He was the difficult person, wild like a lion 🦁

AA BB: I don’t usually speak for Jesus —But I’m gonna say he definitely wants no part of this nut ball 🤔✌️ …”The police aren’t even visiting the area…”…Well Heck of course they aren’t —🤔 Hey it’s dangerous out there! —The police don’t want to bother with that! 🤔

Lillie Holmes: A very scary horrific story of this serial killer,, the way he left the bodies

Lillie Holmes: Wow what a horrific story,,

GorillaGuerilla: Incompetent police and criminal technicians……

Just me thinking aloud Ooh: The poorer you are, the less important your life is, especially the older you are too, unfortunately....I never knew this till I got older and poorer. 😑 And typical of the police.... wrongly arrested the wrong man, and accuse him cos it's the quick and easy way out for them to 'solving the cases.'

Marion Friedenthal: This is an excellent documentary. Hopefully he never sees the light of day. He is a monster.

Sara C: What happened to this small village was just horrible and the way the police treated the case was just inhumane

T Mitchell: Whats the need for the subtitles?

BackSeatHump: Die howe moet hom doodstraf gee!

Thando Bheka: South Africa has become Far more worse to this day with murders.

Lee Lee: These story is just scary and sad at the same time

Loretta Tessy: vay.fyi bonzer
