TheCutestTiger ThereEverWas: Jaegerists: One of the things that stood out to me the most in this episode is how willing the Paradis People are to fight the world for their freedom compared to how complacent they were when fighting Titans and this is best exemplified with how they adopted the scouts cry for freedom when just a few years ago, they were looked down upon as "suicidal bastards" wasting their money. Nobody wants to fight monsters even when pushed to the brink of annihlation but regular humans like us, that's a different story.

Avery Brown: Everyone wants to know _what_ Eren is thinking, but can we speculate on _why_ he’s keeping his closest friends and allies in the dark about it? Why is he seemingly unwilling to talk openly with anyone but Zeke, Yelena, and the “YEAGERISTS” about what he’s trying to do? The most common theories within the world of the show right now are some variation of: “Eren has sided with/is blindly following/is being controlled by Zeke.” But if we know one thing about Eren that definitely hasn’t changed: he has a will unbreakable as diamond. I think nothing could sway him from wanting to protect his people, and he'd never give Zeke Yeager a large amount of control over him or his situation. More likely, Eren is keeping them in the dark because he thinks they don’t _need_ to know, or has some sort of "hero" complex where he thinks he’s nobly “protecting” them from whatever choices he feels he has to make. I suspect it’s the latter, and I think that’s part of the reason a lot of real-life Yeagerists like him. But to me, he seems to have forgotten or to be ignoring a major point of the story’s development: _Eren Yeager is not a hero._ Nothing of substance that he’s ever able to accomplish has been done alone, and he learns in the season 3 part 2 arc, he only happened upon the responsibility of the Founder because of who he was born to. I feel like a big part of his journey has been learning what it means to be a part of a cause greater than himself, while bearing this power. I think that this is what Kruger meant when he told Grisha he had to love someone _inside_ the walls even though he had his old family in Liberio: Eren can amass all of the strength, titan power, and willpower in the world, as he is currently setting himself up to do. But if he stays detached because he thinks nobody else can understand him or bear this burden, he’ll never be able to see the full picture and make the best decisions for those he ares about if he isn’t grounded in _people,_ no matter how much he‘s learned or thinks he knows from his Titan. Power forging ahead alone, no matter how strong, won’t bring about the result that he wants. The more broad meaning of that is this: if he wants to not only protect his people, but actually _end_ the cycle, he needs to be attached and empathetic to people across _both_ sides of the conflict. And that’s why I think Falco’s and Gabi’s arc is going to play such a major part; Eren may already be too far gone and too detached from everyone to be able to what needs to be done here.

I mean, he's the big strategic thinker, if he's got more info on what's going on with this plan and sees strategic merit in it, for the Eldians and possibly the world, he might go with it. I mean he's already 'died' for Eren once. Just AAAaaaaaah! I don't want to suspect Armin of anything, but, like... The War Hammer Titan converted from a chrysalis, what if Armin's chats with Annie who is 'sleeping' are serving to keep her updated so she knows when to bust out? That could be what's happening whether Armin's in on anything or not. Fffff arg. And Jaegerists! Using Shinso sasageyo. That just... yikes. And most of all! The string version of the Titan Fall song from the first episode of the season playing over the end of this episode is NOT helping restabilize my sense of calm. Paul Canning: Jagerists So have the Eldians been playing the long game or at least a few of them? From what was being discussed it definitely looks like their extreme views if not followed their flock was trimmed probably both to show dedication and also to instill loyalty through fear to those on the fence. Given what Zeke knew about Eren from his discussions with Reiner over the years he would be aware of how easy it would be to trigger him. I think I mentioned it before but Zeke does seem to have his own agenda. It is almost looking like the Jagerists are getting a cult like mentality tho it's not Eren who is controlling the narrative.

DoflProductions: Jaegerists: To clarify about the episode titles mix up, in the anime at least they are correct since they are the same in Japanese and the English translation. I'm guessing the anime script-writer Hiroshi Seko reckoned the titles fit more the other way around. Also that trailer Jacob is mentioning is actually all animated ahead of time and most of the stuff besides maybe from episode 1 were very different to what we got in the actual season. Discussing about the pre-animated trailer it was actually story-boarded and directed by Shuhei Yabuta director of Vinland Saga who has no relation (so far) to the actual season. Typically they can re-use scenes in said trailers like the previous Titan trailers however most likely the scenes played out differently to what they were in the anime. It's why I personally don't get that hype for those kind of trailers because it doesn't really represent what the actual anime is going to look like.

Callie Jones: Jaegerist: I think a lot about how absolutely devastated Armin must be and will probably continue to be throughout this final arc if Eren doesn’t come around. He can’t talk to Mikasa about these things, especially his doubts in Eren. He doesn’t know what’s going on with his best friend, but he clearly isn’t the same person who wanted to go see the ocean with him. Change is a scary thing and it feels like Armin’s doing everything he can to avoid it- after all, the person he’s talking to hasn’t changed or even moved from the spot she’s in for about four years now. Armin is so desperate to go back to the way things were, to grasp onto some familiarity, that the only person he can talk to is Annie and the second Hitch teases him about it he gets desperate to ensure that isn’t taken away from him too. Everything else is changing but SHE isn’t. Annie is both figuratively and literally a rock for Armin, grounding him and almost keeping him sane in such a confusing time.

Titan MasterXD: So, no spoilers, just some food for thought. In the very first episode of AOT eren sees his mother die in a dream. This might just be a writing flaw, but eren seemed to have a limited version of the attack titans memory foresight before he even had the attack and founding titan. 🤔 my theory is that eren accessed a sort of Eldian highway to interact with all future and past Eldians. This may be part of the reason why kruger was able to know who eren mikasa and Armin were.

Marco: Jaegerists: Everyone's got a plan: Yelena, to unite Zeke and Eren and re-shape the world. Zeke, to use Eren and deal with the Eldian problem (secret plan) Eren, to meet with Zeke and do something (nobody knows what his plan is at this moment) Jaegerist, to use Zeke and Eren to create the new Eldian Empire. Military, to take away the power from Zeke and Eren cause they can't be trusted. Who doesn't have a plan? Hange and the scouts. Everybody has been more proactive to their situation and problems while Hange and the scouts have been more reactive to everything else around them. They have not been able to come a up with a solution or pick a side with those that have one. Can't say Eren is making the moral/right decisions but at least he is moving forward. Marley and the rest of the world are not going to wait for them.

Nana Didjana: JAEGERISTS are very scary in my opinion, much more than Eren's or Zeke's plan. People who found a charismatic leader who gives them sense of purpose and a role to fulfill, and would follow them to the bitter end because they "believe in their cause". Oh boy, we've seen already where that leads. The real question here is, does Eren care about his friends anymore? "I do this to save you so it's none of your business" doesn't make any sense, so he's not thinking about them at all. Does he really care about eldians then? we don't know. What we know is that the jaegerists blew up the line of command in the military right after Eren declared war on the whole world. What I see is that Eren is pushing the military against the wall so there's no other option than the jaeger plan, whatever it is. There's no time, since Pieck is already infiltrated, so what is Hange going to do? Also, the situation between Armin and Mikasa is heartbreaking. Let us recall they're both orphans who met because of Eren. EMA was the only thing the three of them could call a family, and now Eren is doing all this while treating them like strangers, or even worse... like ENEMIES.

Eren gets praised as an amazing leader by the Jaegerists and Paradis for what happened in Marley but it was literally only a success because of the scouts. Mikasa fought the warhammer Titan, Levi cut Porco’s Jaw, Mikasa cut Porco’s legs, Jean and co. took out the Marleyan soldiers manning the anti Titan cannons, Armin took out the navy and came up with the escape plan, Sasha and Jean’s team took out the Cart. Fast forward to now and they have fallen out of favour with the public who’s celebrating a “victory” the scouts are responsible for.

Aditya Joshi: Since they arrived back on Paradis, ive been wanting to hug Hange and tell her everything's gonna be alright (well, maybe) , I wish Moblit was alive to support her while she's going head to head with the "Jaegerists".  Speaking of Zachary , ik a lot of people lost interest in him once the "shitty " side of his character was introduced in the show, but whats surprising and imo is something that needs to be acknowledged about him is that even after not having a speck of the enthusiasm and patriotism that is supposed be mandatory in any soldier, he still is pretty much the head of the state . Maybe its people like Zachary and Erwin that fight for so called "selfish" reasons who accomplish the most when they are in positions that require them to be selfless and put humanity before themselves. As a matter of fact Zachary did eventually proved to be the man "Pyxis" thought of him to be, when he thought Eren could be useful for humanity (Season 1) he didn't hesitate to let him join the scouts and do the "test run", now when he thinks he's a danger to the "humanity" behind walls he doesn't approve of the "test run" and is ready to let him get eaten by someone more suitable. Hobbies aside, the man deserves respect. RIP Zachary , another soul freed from this cruel world.

Bee tee: 12:02 Nice to see the palms of Onyankapon's(sp?) hands being shaded lighter than his skin tone. I understand that sometimes the choice is a practical one to keep a consistent skin tone even on the palms of the hands, (makes it much easier to animate at times) but the detail is still a nice one. (Aran from Haikyuu is also a good example of this.)

Josh Carvell: Jaegerists: Mikasa is being pushed away by both the Jaegerists and The Military right now. Eren's followers almost got her killed and the military was likely planning to have Eren eating without even letting her talk to him. Hard for her to trust either side at this point. Looking like the squad is in serious trouble with Pieck spotting them leaving town without any gear. Might be time to see how our boy Armin does in a fight with other shifters.

Richik Nair: Jaegerists : I've seen many people say that Eren should've tried negotiating with Marley first. I wish that worked for India cos that's literally all Gandhi and like minded freedom fighters did. He even went to England to negotiate at the Parliament but no one listened. They used it as a formality just to appease the masses of India under their rule. So, if people couldn't even listen to Indians (who weren't at all being a "threat" to anyone), there's no way the Marleyans would give Eldians a chance. However, I think Eren should have taken action on a battlefield rather than the interment zone. That was a terrible thing to do. But, there's also the fact that Marley would've decimated Paradis on a battlefield. Ughhh the more you think about it it's even more convincing that this was the only choice

But If Zeke has royal blood and also already has the ability to control titans which we've already seen, does that mean that he will be in control of the colossal titans if the rumbling happens? If so which direction will he be sending them? It is still so unclear who he is actually siding with if anyone, he will be dead within a year and its not like Reiner where he has others he cares about, aside from potentially his grandparents so his motivation is hard to distinguish. 1 thing that I think is certain is there are going to be very few people we care about left at the end, if any...

There are multiple training divisions. EMA and the rest of the main crew are from the southern training post. Floch, Marlowe and Hitch finished their military training at the same time, so they are also members of the 104th training corps but not from the southern division.
