Semblance of Sanity: You have no idea just how long I've been waiting for this episode. We've got Gabi almost dying, Eren showing up, and the wine reveal, ALL WHILE THE WARRIORS ARE NEARBY!!! We are in the final season of Attack on Titan. LET'S FUCKING GOOOOOO!!!! Also, check our patreon for timer-based full length vids. https://www.patreon.com/semblanceofsanity

Irakli Zviadadze: fuck gabi.

Daniel Ralph: *THIS FLOCHING GUY*

Diego DJ Plays: so um....... floch is king

Justin Tompkins: Gabi and falco remind me of eren

Anthony Odom: Attack On Titan Season 4 Part 2 Coming Soon

dani tan: Meme : Left ( the one read manga but still emotional when watch the anime) Right ( the one who only watch the anime and then.. surprise mtf) LOL

Flame Fusion: Floch used to be such a bitch. Now he is badass af

Fraus Creations: AHHH AHHH AHHH YYYYG

Brad Bradstar: 'LET'S TALK' The scene where Gabi expresses with excitement that she killed a female soldier and 'only' a couple of others while Falco, in contrast was panicking really highlights Falco's awareness of his surroundings and other people. Basically, it's safe to say that Falco has more emotional intelligence and maturity then Gabi, even though Gabi tests higher in other, more useful categories (for a WIT). We always knew Falco was more sensitive and considerate of other people's feelings, e.g. when he suggested to just leave Reiner 'out of it' but the wine cellar scene highlights this aspect of his character. He is always considering how others feel which is also why him witnessing Reiner talk to Eren was really impactful for him. I wager that if Gabi was in that position, she would not have been as affected. Actually, it took something as extreme as the events in this episode for her to even begin to consider that the 'island devils' may be more like her than she originally thought. This has yet to be cemented, but I think her updated views will heavily depend on how this interaction with Eren goes.

-C H E R R Y-: "especially with Eren" I literally started wheezing when he said that

Artaum: Caleb is kinda right about future memories but he's really overrating Eren's capabilities

Jerson Mendoza: Not me changing sides. At the start of the season I was all for Eren, I even thought that I wasn’t going to waiver. Now, I just can’t justify Eren’s actions. Ughhh

Chris Jacks: Im tuned in brody! Keep the heat coming 🔥🔥🔥🔥

Lana RU: "hy guys eren here"

я не знаю кто я: Let's talk: This episode shows just how much Sasha mattered to everyone and the way in which she impacted their lives. While her passing was immensely tragic on it's own, the resulting fallout is so far reaching and may be the worst part about all of this; seeing the people who cared about her so deeply be plunged into despair. But something very interesting I would like to discuss is how this affected Eren. While I believe that Eren was already dead-set on his goals before carrying out the raid on Liberio, Sasha dying as a consequence of his actions signaled to him that there is absolutely no turning back now. If he wasn't resolved enough already, he now needs to see his plan through at any cost, lest Sasha's sacrifice be for nothing. It is difficult to infer anything from Eren's characterization right now, so my interpretation is that he is turning his grief into anger as a coping mechanism. Achieving what he set out to do is the only way for him to atone for everything he's done, at least in his mind. Addendum: If this comment somehow makes it into the video, please don't concern yourself with pronouncing my name. Russian isn't your first language so I fully understand.

Revolk Nox: Let’s talk about how Eren didn’t just got the Warhammer titan powers, but the musical theme as well! Also, Gabi now has the opportunity to confront Eren, will she be able to act on her words and “try” to kill him or she’ll just get frozen in fear of being face to face with the Devil himself?

jinroh516: Let's talk Too much emotional AoT meltdowns will be too bad to someone's mental health, watch Asobi Asobase to clear your mind.

toysmostwanted: LET'S TALK - I know everyone is excited that our core trio will get to talk but I'm kinda afraid that having one of the only 3 people that know Falco's part in the Liberio attack will undo all of the potential character development Gabi was setup to get.

Snow Anaya: Gabi being there to see the "talk" is gonna realize that neither side is right. There's always one trying to be stronger and better to win the war and she's just a child brainwashed into thinking acceptance in hatred is better than freedom. While you have Eren using hatred for freedom. They all lost in the forest while Zeke gonna scream up titans while they run out of it.

amal ab: “Let's talk” It's crazy to think that this is the first time Eren and Armin actually talk with each other in this season ( except for the flashback) and it's been 13 episode!! it feels for me like the dream they always talked about and connected them together just gone... now that they reached the sea they dont have something to remind eachother with because the world is bigger and thier perspective is different, but I still believe in eren and I hope he could explain things to them. also I'm worried about falco .. hange was washing him before floch came in, did they just left him there? or did the yeagerists take him with them? and sorry if there is mistakes ,my english is not good 🙏🏻

Reu8enofleon: Let’s talk: Just because you are competent and have incredible power doesn’t mean you have good judgement. I think Eren is a danger to everyone he cares about whether he knows about the wine or not. I don’t know what his exact plan is or what he’s seen by even if they somehow survive everything it’s not like the Jaegerists are going to just give up power

babarjaputak: let's talk. While Gabi may not be mature and self-aware enough to see the parallels between her and Eren, it's possible she might see it depending on his interaction with Armin and Mikasa. If they plead with Eren to stop what he's doing and to not resort to the rumbling and Eren simply replies with a "they did it first", she might be able to see how Falco tried to talk her out of getting on the zeppelin.

Madlad Oniji: I cannot wait to have "a campfire" with strangers someday

Jessica-Lynn Warren: Aye let's talk about how there is a potential for all the scout soldiers to explode into titans, leaving Levi surrounded, as he's immune to the wine because he's an Akerman. Levi would have to fight his entire platoon, now in titan form AND ZEKE. The forest is brings back memories of levi loosing his squad and doubting himself. What will he do then? He's probably the only person who could kill an entire scout regiment of titans, but would he? Would the titans show fear?

stan min yoongi: Gabi is such a fantastic character, perfect parallel for Eren.

Krishna Prasad: Levi will not be effected by Zeke's spinal fluid since he is not an eldian .Non Eldians are not effected.

Falkarios: Every episode. "YOU'RE ENDING IT THERE?!?!?"

Porco Galliard: So with that small single drop of wine entering falco’s mouth that made my mind click so like when Eren KRUGER said to Grisha go to the wall start a family and save Mikasa and Armin etc Falco at the very beginning was like I’m flying through the sky with swords or whatever he said so is it like a situation like Eren KRUGER where Falco he saw the future or whatever and so would that mean that Falco becomes a Titan shifter or am I just overthinking this or is my hypothesis right I really don’t know at this point 😭

Joshua Thomas: My goodness, imagine Annie's role in this, she's like a time-traveler

youri bogdanoff: Eren Jaeger the GOAT with Floch Forster the new MVP !

Areliz Loja: I feel Eren is trying to be the common enemy to everyone. He does not want eldians, as a race, to suffer so why not be an enemy even to the eldians. when he dies, the rest of the world can be at peace with everyone again

Artman Nexus: Falco is an adorable kid and deserves better.

Ashin Basilio: 4:51 even tho the scene is so sad, I still cant stop laughing. Lol you just became gabi at that moment right there

Kyu Kang: 18:35 speak of the (eldian) devil

BlackDerek: Kaya has lost both the people who meant the most to her to the Marleyans. Having it be the girl she was actively trying to save and then having to hear Gabi spout that nonsense? The fact that she didn't stab Gabi halfway through Mr. Braus giving that speech was more a surprise to me.

Violent-Noctis: The next episode and after, we'll never be the same. I know what's coming, and I still absolutely can't wait. This is hands down the GOAT of anime for me.

Dan Chmelař: Eren: Casually approach friends.

Daniel Veas Sánchez: Caleb: 23:59 Me: 😬

Team RODZ: The next episode is going to break the internet...

charl Sparrow: 46:13 clipped

Sara Barbosa: Really enjoy your commentary and analysis of the show.

Rhyan Pierre: All of eldia military drank the wine zeke is gonna destroy all of eldia military like eren destroyed all of Marley military there has to be a reason for it

Zack Brangen: "This *"Flocking"* guy." Bruh.

Toasty McGee: Ok, let's talk about how amazing Sasha's father's speech was. He didn't just show Gabi that violence and revenge aren't always the answer, that forgiveness can be given freely and not held over you through forced atonement, that the so-called "Devils of Paradis" have shown more kindness to her than any Marleyan, and that there are good _people_ outside the internment zone. I think the most important thing for Gabi to hear was "That's why it's up to us adults to shoulder the sins of the past." From birth Gabi has been taught that it's her responsibility to shoulder the guilt of Eldians and atone for the sins of her ancestors. That if she atones enough, she and the other "good Eldians" will be forgiven and be freed. But it isn't her responsibility. It isn't her fault, and she and everyone she knows not only didn't make the choice to commit those acts, they weren't even born yet. Sasha's father taught her that people are responsible for their own actions, and that holding onto the past only creates a never ending circle of blame and violence. As Grisha wrote: "How terrible the sin to besmirch one's beliefs on your children". The truly tragic part about Gabi's beliefs and her goal is that from Marley's point of view, nothing she does will ever be enough. Marley drills into the captive Eldians minds that they *must* atone for their ancestors sins, dangling the hope of forgiveness and freedom from guilt in front of them. But that reality doesn't actually exist, and that hope is actually hopeless. The world and even the King of the Walls decided that "The sins of Eldia were so great that they could never be forgiven." Gabi has been working towards a future that will never happen, but she can't give it up because everyone needs something to keep pushing on.

Jayden Coulton: Floch went full JoJo's villain this episode. Zeke would be proud.

Freddy Cruz: No one: Everytime something interesting happens: Caleb-"Oy My God, wait, what?" (Screaming) Jacob-"Aja, aja, yeah yeah" (With great emotion and anticipation)

Nathan Viebranz: Let’s talk. The bit in the episode where Niccolo talks about how Marley took down an enemy nation’s capital in one night helps to support the points you guys were making about why the treatment of Eldians was so much worse outside of Marley when Udo disclosed this fact. Not only are Eldians utilized as weapons on people as Pure Titan bombardments and their soldiers have to deal with that, but there’s even the fear and uncertainty that the homefront could be overrun with Titans at any moment. Since they don’t have the control over this like Marley does, who knows if the Eldians walking down the street towards you are going to become monsters right then and there? It’s a clear example of why the entire world fears the Eldians so much, and the fact that Eldians can’t control Titanization and may not even know they could become one once they’ve been prepped for it only reinforces this.

Fluffiddy: Flochad was glorious in this episode

Leere: Ya know, after they wrap up AoT I hope they check out MAPPA’s other master class project, Jujutsu Kaisen 🙏🙏

Jordan Dwiggins: The last few chapters are going to make Jacob freak out I can already tell. I’m still processing 138

kamron spencer: Please fix episode 15, 19, and 20 of the ancient magus bride.

Jordan Behm: @33:25 *if it’s a port wine, it’s LITERALLY dessert*

Rayen_Games: Let's talk... ( I DON'T READ MANGA ) 16:13 That guy looks very similar to a titan dude😰😰 it's scary, and the poor levi is probably going to be forced to kill his comrades if they transform, i mean what else is the wine for right? oh by the way falco can't transform without zekes scream so he's probably going to be half alive and half awake... i think, and falco might also eat reiner cuz we know that he's here with pieck and maybe porco and magath too so yea.

Kaemonarch: Is just me... or do they over-react more and more each episode? Not sure if they are increasing their imperventilating and "yeah, yeah, yeah, aha, aha, aha", but personally I'm starting to find it really annoying...

Mad Dad Lad: *Jacob breathing in excited manga reader*

ヤンキー翻訳【海外の反応】: 21:19 discussion start

Muhtasim Mahin: Sasha's dad is full of wisdom..probably wisest and the most understanding character in aot.

FateUnmarked: "Let's talk" Sasha's dad is such a saint in this episode. The girl who took his daughter away from him is at his mercy, and this man has the capacity to ask if SHE'S okay. He says the sins are HIS to bear, for the youngin's sake. And you could tell those wounds opened fresh once again for all of them after Kaya attacked. It was such a well said speech; if the cycle is to end, someone has to say "no more."

TheFun: No one: Jacob at the ending of every episode: ENDING IT THERE? THEY ENDING IT THERE?

Khalil Jenkins: all 4 reactions at 18:37 lol

SuchAPerson: around the end of the episode with armin, mikasa, gabi, and eren sitting around the table, i picked up on something it showed armin, mikasa, and gabi's hands all in the same shot, showing that gabi is starting to understand them and see them as the same as her, but then it shows eren's hands in a seperate shot, showing that he's becoming more distant from them and doing his own thing if anyone wants to word this better or expand on it please do, english is one of my least favourite lessons in school

sonofsun: Oof personal stuff indeed

sɐzǝǝſ: Ngl I cried when Kaya tried to stab Gabi. It was her entering the forest

Artaum: "What a little bitch" _How dare you disrespect God Emperor Floch Forster, the prophet of almighty Eren?_

Friendly Neighborhood Totally Not Creepy Old Man: Damn...... people were calling this a modern classic, a masterpiece too... what a shame. guess people really shouldn't have lifted up Isayama as some sort of genius

Emrys: I mean do I wish they ended it on Eren's big ta-do about Mikasa? Yes, absolutely. However, I do respect them ending it where they did because it's still epic.

Irtaza Azam: 46:10 LOL

santiago videla leiva: Let's talk. I have to admit that i really like Floch's character. I think he fills out a role that was kinda lost over time. Because for much we love our crew i think they all became to similar, which is understandable because they all became friends trought their shared experiences. But still, looking at this season alone you can clearly see that they all do share similar views. Mikasa and Armin weirdly enough are now way closer to Connie and Jean than ever before. In season 2 mikasa wouldnt show mercy to anyone that would try to hurt Eren, now i dont know how much she would try stop Jean or Connie if they try to kill him. Thats why i think that having a character like Floch that opposes our crew is so good for the overrall story. We didnt have such character since early Jean from the first episodes. Also, he has such a memeable face.

Matt Bayes: Let's talk: The Owl showed us that memories of the future can influence the past, but Armin is reminding us that the past can also influence the future. We should remember all 9 titan shifters stim from the original Ymir. Eren now has 1/3rd of her power. How much is that past influencing his actions now?

Sabina Koka: Falco Saving gabi . . . . . . . . . . Me after reading chapter 138 Oh boy you are gonna see some shit going down in season 4 part 2

Jacob Stinnett: Sasha's dad is one of my favorite characters in the entirety of Attack on Titan, in no small part because of this episode. I strive to be a man like him.

Patricia Oellerer: Lets f***in talk The reason why Eren changed so much in so little time is the fact that he has 3 titans with 3 diffrent memory Paths and x personalities inside of him. We lose the old Eren because he lost himself in combining 3 powerful but different "roles" the Titans have. I especially felt it, when After he consumed the warrior Titan all he thinks is killing "all of them". Endgame will be wipping all Eldians out by first consuming all Titans, kill every Eldian and then himself to stop the cicle. *crying already*

korn band fan: Do beastars season 2

Ali Shahrose: Let's Talk: We are still confused about what Zeke told everyone on Paradis regarding the spinal fluid is true or not, or rather how much of it is true. "Do you know how to tell a good lie? Sometimes, you've gotta mix the truth into it." - Pyxis

SrZippypants: Let's Talk: I found it kinda interesting that Eren's entrance was framed like a jumpscare in a horror game. Not that it was scary per se, but I half expected a game over screen (or, well... end credits) after he flashed his injured hand in that quick cut. It's kind of fitting because those kinds of things happen in games when the player is being slow and indecisive, which matches Eren's frustrations with the decision making of Paradis. AOT loves casually throwing massive twists, but Eren's spooky entrance casts a shadow of anxiety on whatever happens next.

戦士RD: U 2 have a funny face reaction

willian santana: I don't know if anyone noticed it too, but I found this season's op very similar to that of devilman crybabe especially in the last scene with titan Eren in white.

hemmoheikkinen: "Let´s talk" One of my favorite small moments during this episode is when Gabi asks "Do you really... not hate me?" Because she belongs to the people of the Ymir, for her entire life Gabi has faced resentment from the rest of the world. From the very beginning they are taught about the horrors of the past committed by the Eldian Empire, and how they, a generation that has nothing to do with that, has to atone. There is no reason for them to suffer from what happened a hundreds of years ago, and their way of "atonement" is also an illusion. No matter how much of their enemies and the island devils they slay, they won`t become "good Eldians", and Marley´s military will keep using and oppressing them. So I cannot even began to imagine what it must feel like, when a person who in a sense has all the right to hate Gabi from an act that she committed, does not hate her. Instead Mr. Blouse sees the bigger picture of the whole scenario, and ask if Gabi is all right. It is a small moment but oh my gosh I love it. They adapted this chapter wonderfully, it is one of my favorites in the story.

Andre Carter: Eren walked in like "yo whatsup don't mind me im just coming to get a snack from the fridge"

Sam laws: Speak of the devil and he shall show

Malcolm Ferguson: Let's Talk: I think it was actually important for Gabi to see Kaya try to kill her for what she did. If the whole family had forgiven her - well, first of all, that would be very unrealistic - but also, I feel like that might make her LESS likely to have a change of heart. Sure, she would be shaken at first, but I imagine the brainwashing would kick in again at some point, causing her to twist it into something negative ("These devils don't even care enough about their family members to avenge them!" or "They're being too nice! They must be faking!") That's not what happened though - One of them still hates her and won't forgive her. After seeing two COMPLETELY different reactions from these "devils", I don't know if she'll be able to rationalize her feelings towards them anymore, because it's proof of what she heard Reiner say back in episode 2: They're different people.

Colt: Can we just appreciate that Gabi is basically getting Eren and Reiner character development... in less than half the time it took them to get that same character development? Also, ya boi Eren be like "So I heard y'all talking shit within Titan Shifting distance."

Lucas Van De Casteele: 38:22 Spoiler task failed successfully

James Arif: The voice acting for Sasha's father and Niccolo was amazing this episode.

Baka OniiChan: This story reminds me of Devilman Crybaby. A great show. Impactfull, sad story. And you love it, even though you know its not gonna end in a good way :(

The_HighGarden: Armin insinuated that Eren only thinks about 'kill this, kill that,' but Eren's conversation with Reiner earlier on shows that he no longer cares about vendettas. Eren is obviously conflicted and trying to achieve the best outcome by trusting only himself (remember everyone died whenever he trusted everyone else).

Zack Kopenhafen: At this point I'm rooting for nobody now. This is just pure sadness and tragic for both sides 😣 I predict that this show has not a happy ending ! And the talk next week with eren it's about to go down 😎

Ufuk U: I didn't know Caleb was a vegan, much love.

Iggyx450: i love seeing Jacobs second reaction and Caleb first reaction so genuine i love you guys!!!!!!!!!!!

Furious Destroyah: 45:52 Eren: Mikasa you're a dirty simp lmao

OneLinkyBoi ': I’m gonna be honest this was easily a top 3 of S4 so far and I’m an anime-only!

Conrad Shockley: Lmao that cut made my dad xD

Amanda Ouedraogo: Hey, so I don't know if it's being delayed in your country or smt, but chapters 10 and 11 of rwby volume 8 are out AND YOU HAVE TO REACT TO THEM

Alexander Rios: I love how jacobs reaction jus consist of "aha aha yup yup"🤣

luis siordia: Manga spoilers 38:05 relating to 138 nice observation for someone who hasn't read the manga impressive!

riizar: Emotions just go rollercoaster in this one! I love Nicolo's character a lot. I think Nicole and Sasha would've made a perfect couple. And then we got Eren just walked with swagger of a Titanshifter in the scene and boom! Things gets even more tense and makes me more nervous to see the next one. But, still..would you stand by Eren or against him? After all that's happen..will all this deaths be meaningful or will they just brdead bodies in piles? I'm scared of Eren because I never saw a character like this. Maybe you have,So that's cool. I'm a Jaegerist for sure. 😊

Lidia 887: Eren looks so sad it's gonna be a serious talk

GhiraLink: Next episode... poor Mikasa and Armin... and poor Levi.

Caffiene Kitty: Let’s talk. OK. So. Ingesting/being injected with Titan spinal fluid makes Eldians become 'Pure' Titans. Zeke through dint of his Royal Blood hoody-hoo has a delayed detonation effect on this. Falco has ingested the wine with the spinal fluid (which YUCK! 'hints of an earthy aroma reminiscent of giant monkey') that is unless team Survey Corps well-intentioned water-boarding of the poor kid flushed it out before he swallowed any. EXCEPT Falco also was struck with the bottle and had wine smashed all over a freshly opened scalp wound, so the swallowing is moot. Falco contains Zeke's spinal fluid and will Go Titan when Zeke hollers. Great. But then! Eating a Shifter will turn Falco into a Shifter. Or rather, ingesting the shifter's spinal fluid. SO. If Falco turns Titan, all someone needs to do is huck one of the Chateau Zeke bottles into his mouth. Not sure what that means for Zeke, but if the walls have millions of Colossal Titans in them without that impairing Bertholdt and Armin, it’s….. worth a shot? *grabs at all the straws*
