Crystal Pratt: You’re weighing on Marvel WAY too much when it’s so clearly a parody on DC itself. There are some aspects of Marvel like Soldier Boy, just a hint here and there. But The Boys is mainly based off of DC and not Marvel. Basically a running gag on DC. Superman, Aquaman, Wonderwoman etc. All of that aside in this video alone this is way too focused on Captain America himself and not enough on Soldier Boy, The Boys season 3 and Hensen Ackles. Which, normally I wouldn’t complain since I’m a huge Chris Evans and Cap fan. And I love the MCU/Marvel, but I clicked on this video for an actual trailer, maybe discussion about season 3, Jensen and the character himself (not Cap, a brief touch on him is fine) I didn’t click on this video for babbling and redirect.

Lokabrenna: I kinda like how they turned "Vick the Veep" into a parody of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. She looks vaguely similar, represents what I believe may actually be AOC's irl district, and has a similar rhetorical style. Homelander even reinforced the resemblance at one point, mocking her "Dance Like an Egyptian video" (referencing AOC's dance video's that she's posted over the years, which irl conservatives have tried to use in the exact same way Homelander did to make her seem immature and undignified). I think it adds fun layers to the parody when they're not just making fun of superheroes, but irl politics as well.
